Inexpensive, lower quality but does the job
A food scale is highly recommended if you are monitoring your food intake whether it is losing weight, bulking or cutting. Tracking calories accurately means you need to know the weight of the food that you eat. This scale is a perfect size and looks nice. It is made of plastic so that tells you about the quality. It comes with 2 AAA batteries which is required. However the instructions were a little confusing as it mentions rechargeable batteries which these are not.I measured a few items to see how accurate it is. The scale appears to be accurate although slightly off by 4-5% higher. So it will show a higher weight although I did not use actual weights to test this. All scales are slightly off so unless one has actual weights (for example, 5 oz weight), it is hard to know how much off. Just be aware that the scale will be slightly higher than actual. You can view ounces, pounds, grams, kg, ml and Milk ml [no clue what this Milk ml] is but I assume liquid ml. You have to press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds to turn it off.Overall, it does the job for the price. Don't know the reliability but I will post updates later on.

Sleek and Affordable
I was looking for an affordable and sleek kitchen scale to make baking and cooking easier and this fits the bill perfectly. Its metal finish is beautiful and doesn’t clash with the rest of my kitchen. The functionality of a kitchen scale really helps streamline the baking process - there’s a tare option and you can switch between different units of measurement for both dry powders and liquids seamlessly. I love how it comes with batteries but there’s also the option of USB charging. The scale wasn’t as thin as I expected but I think this is standard for most kitchen scales so it’s not a big deal for me. Overall, this is a beautiful and accurate scale with a solid build.

Simple and Sensitive
The device is simple to use after reading the provided instructions. Batteries can be put in on the underside, and the charging port is located along the side. The device came already partially charged and worked without batteries inside as I did initial testing. The device is lightweight and small for easy storage. My one negative is the charging cable that came with the device. The cable was only a few inches long, and it was VERY difficult to put it in the charging port, and to plug it into a usb wall charger. Both ends were very snug, to the point I thought it must be damaged in some way. It's not damaged, both cord ends are just very tight. Trying to force the cable into the scale felt like I would break it or damage the scale. I used my own microusb cable from home that I already owned and that slid into the ports easily without force or difficulty and charged the scale.

perfect for what I need
This is small enough that doesn't crowd my kitchen. It's USB charge is perfect so don't need to use the batteries that are included but it's a great backup. I need to measure my veggies in grams and generally need 2 cups. My proteins 4 to 6 oz. This is perfect for that. It zeros out w plate on it so I can easily weight the food I need. It's small. But, again, I like that. The one star off is the digital display is sometimes hard to see in some lighting or if the plate is partially covering. I don't mind this much though. I can see it and love it's not taking up much space in my kitchen. Its wireless and moves easy to my table ro counter. Perfect.

Easy to use scale, accurate enough for a home baker
Having a kitchen scale is a game changer, I didn't know what I was missing out on before. It's easy to use and has sped up my cooking when I can just weigh things instead of painstakingly measuring out cups. I love that it has a rechargeable battery, but if you forget to recharge and it's dead you can just pop in 2 AA batteries. My only beef is it could be a little more accurate and sensitive for small/light measurements, but this works for 95% of my kitchen weighing needs.

The scale is both attractive an accurate
The scale is both attractive an accurate, I hope I can be diligent keeping it clean! As you can see from the attached pictures, the scale is showing proper readings when used with reference weights. I used 200g and 10g reference weights in a couple of combinations and locations on the scale surface and it was right on.The scale will use either batteries or an internal battery charge. The instructions did not mention USB and it was unclear at first whether the USB port and the included USB cable were only for on-demand power or not, but by removing the batteries and letting it stay plugged in a few minutes I can confirm the unit has its own onboard rechargeable battery that works fine with the AAA batteries out. While plugged in and turned off, one can see number-eights dimly moving on the display to confirm charging.A note on tare weight, the instructions did not discuss the tare weight function. Tare weight functionality is used to account for a container in the weighing process, for example allowing you to place salt in a container to weigh as opposed to dumping a load of salt on the scale. The Amazon listing says it automatically subtracts container weight but doesn't describe how to do it. I found it can be done a couple of ways- the first is placing a container on the scale and turning the scale on. The initial weight will show zero, and when you remove the container and add contents and replace, the weight of the contents will then be shown. The second way is while the scale is turned on, place the container on the scale and press the Z/T button. The scale will then show zero in order to account for the container weight when you place a loaded container on it. Press the Z/T button twice ("double tap" it) to reset the tare value to zero.Cook well!

The scale so nice, I bought it twice!
For the price this is an amazing scale. After buying and returning two other ones (particularly due to gram measurements either being off or constantly shifting) this lil' baby came through in a pinch. Not only is it comparatively affordable, it also seems to be well made, is USB-C rechargeable and has physical buttons that are separate from the casing with a nice, clicky, tactile feel.Highly recommended for those who are tracking calories on the go!
