The chair arrived on time but was not packaged well and the delivery company was at the mercy of a chair literally put in a box with no other packaging material. I unboxed and assembled it in just a few mins. The color is true medium gray as pictured with no undertones to be concerned with. The dimensions are accurate. The construction is solid. Please note there is not alot of padding on the armrest which is to achieve a modern look and not the fluffy arms that look terrible and out of date.I have spinal issues and pinched nerves with nerve pain throughout my legs and feet. I have spent thousands on furniture only to be in more pain due to lack of support. Now that I know what "I" need, I searched reviews on 2 separate recliners that was reported to be "too firm" or "extra firm", a budget chair (see other reviews) for my room and this higher quality chair for the living room.I typically don't give reviews but I realized in shopping for this recliner how very important "real" reviews are and I hope my comments are helpful to someone. Hands down 5 stars for a recliner with a more up to date look and a color to fit my ocd pallet. It rocks, its supportive high density foam firm. I will update my review if anything changes. My hubbs got one for himself as well! For reference I am 5'2" and my hubbs is 6' 2". The chair does not swallow me up and it doesn't look like he is sitting in a kids chair. It is literally the perfect chair! The only negative I have is that closing the footrest is really loud but you can control that by assisting the closure with the lever. I love this rocking Recliner. I wanted something really comfortable for night time feeds and to be able to fall asleep in as well. This chair is perfect and fits my nursery aesthetic too. Great buy. Im 5"7" and my head rests comfortably on the top hump. And when the chair is reclined my feet are exactly at the end of the foot rest. I tested this at my local Gardener White furniture store too but I got this as a baby shower gift from Amazon. Super easy to put together too. Only 2 parts that click in place.

First of all, I agonized about buying this chair online. Any chair that looked mildly attractive, was generally too short. I decided on this because it didn’t look like it would swallow half the living room and seemed a bit more tailored with positive reviews. I bought this for my 6’1 husband. He is lean. It’s comfortable enough to nap in and easily accommodates his tall frame. The assembly was incredibly easy: slide the back into place and listen for the double click. The price was extremely reasonable and I’ve dressed up the light gray with a throw blanket. Highly recommend.

This is the best value I have found. I searched for two months looking at recliners. It operates and feels different than most recliners. Here are the details I find important.COMFORT1.) It is very firm and very comfortable at the same time. I have back issues. This is the hands down winner.2.) Seat is wider than necessary. My husband is 220 and there is a lot of room left over.3.) Seat is shorter than normal from front to back. That makes it an excellent rocker.4.) Arm rests are slightly padded.OPERATION1.) You can not sit upright with your feet up. The recliner slightly lays back in this position.2.) It does not recline all the way to flat for sleeping. It is slightly head up from level.3.) It works more like a push recliner with a handle to unlock the upright position. It does require some foot pressure to sit up. That may be difficult for weaker persons. (I'm 68 and it is not an issue for me.)OVERALL1.) This is an outstanding recliner. (You can buy a better recliner but it will cost at least twice as much.)2.) BEST RECLINER in the $400 to $500 dollar range.3.) I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE IN A HEARTBEAT!

I love this chair! I was in need for a rocking chair recliner for our nursery, and this was the perfect fit! I tried out so many different chairs (all under $500) and this was everything I was hoping for! Not only is it sturdy yet cushy, and has great back support, but it is also easy to put the leg recliner down! I'm 5'3, and struggled putting it down with so many other chairs, but this one is smooth and easy to do. I highly recommend this chair for a nursery, or just for lounging.

Overall the chair is very comfortable. As most recliners that need assembly, the back is supposed to slide down onto a couple of uprights from the recliner mechanism. On this one, the right side upright was almost 2 inches out from the corresponding sleeve attached to the back. However, with a pry bar, hammer and block of wood , we could get it close enough to the upright to slide down into position. Now this chair is listed as one for a nursery because it is smaller. But there is a serious problem with off-gassing from the production materials. Lots of VOC's. I would NEVER put this chair in a room with a newborn or hold a newborn in this chair. We've had ours for 3 weeks now and the off-gassing is diminished but still noticeable. I have an air purifier running next to it. That above is the reason for 3 stars. It is smaller, not one of these huge overstuffed chairs, and as stated is very comfortable. If off-gassing were not an issue would definitely buy again.

The back arrives detached which is a good thing since the box will fit though 36" doors and not fit through ~30", I opened the box and removed the back and slit the box down, refolded the top, taped down and then was able to slide the box through the narrower doors. Assembly is easy just slide the back down into the metal receivers ( you can also remove it again if you need to relocate it). Reclines well and is more comfortable than expected. The feet are small and will not slide on carpet and would probably mark wooden floors, I purchased Smart Surface 8295 3-1/2" from Amazon and put them under the feet. Let the chair sink into the protectors for a couple of uses and then you can slid the chair easily on carpet. I bought two at $289.99 with free delivery and am very happy with them.
