Hydration Bladder Kit - 3L Leak Proof and Taste Free TPU Water Reservoir and Cleaning Brushes

I am a heavy user of hyrdration pack systems. I use them for long distance motorcycling and being that I live in the dessert and ride through Death Valley when it's over 120 degrees these are a matter of survival. A good hydro pack is a matter of making long rides possible. My favorite has been by Kriega but the water bladder is almost identical to this design at about more than double the cost to replace. The feature of being able to turn the pack inside out is not to be underestimated because this makes it last longer by not only being easy to clean but will make it easy to dry out in between uses. The bite valves vary from make to make, but I like the way this one opens with just a light pull instead of rotation. No fumbling about I can open it fast and easy while putting it under my helmet. being able to drink while in the middle of a ride makes all the difference to staying alert and making trips possible, I won't ride without one, it's so awesome that a small company like this puts out a product that is up there with the best of them at a much lower cost. now I can get a few of them. The Cat Nomad I now prefer over the Kriega, Nalgean, Osprey Hydraulics (a nightmare to clean) and it slots right into my favorite bags for this purpose. So many good bags out there come with such a crap drink tube and bladder this exactly the quality replacement I was hoping for exceeding the quality of a known system that cost more than double. Update: 11/16 they have improved the bite valve and the tube cleaning brush that comes with the new bag package is awesome! The new bag is now my favourite setup! Great job cat nomad ! The expansion and external hidden holder setup has made this one my new favorite. The bag is far more useful than my 130 dollar kriega and can double as my only bag when I go cycling there is enough room to bring a u lock now. This is a great small company with improvement to an already great hydro. Much appreciated get one!! 12/3 Update: cat nomad you seriously need to fix the closure of this bladder...after multiple uses the top sliding closure becomes way too difficult to use the old one was way better in this regard! Fix this for the next batch it's terrible and now I am going with a pressurized system because this has become a deal breaker making adding fluid in the field impossible!!

I bought this to use on a Disneyland trip! I loved it and it was very handy. Got a lot of water in and didn't have to carry water bottles or drink LA water. (Don't like the taste since I'm from the mountains) the cover for the mouth piece is great. The mouth piece slides up and you don't have to bite hard to get water. With this bag I was able to put it in a backpack made for the bladder bags that I already had and it was easy to get water out while walking around, and not have to fidget with a water bottle.I wasn't sure about the closure and it was perfect. Never leaked. Make sure the hose snaps on right or you won't be able to get any water.I would say there was a small taste the first few times I used it but nothing horrible.I like the idea of being able to easily turn inside out to clean! I would buy this again if needed! Mine didn't have the cleaning apparatus. I live in the desert, and there is dust, grit, sand everywhere. It was really nice to have the bite valve cover. Having to pull the bite valve out to open the flow was often a hassle. But over time the part that connects it to the bite valve broke, and the bite valve itself broke. I thought it should have stood up to more use. Beware that the connector that attaches the hose to the bladder is not a common connector. For instance you can't swap it out with a HydraPak or CamelBak hose -- different connector.

The top of the pouch ripped and a seal was impossible. This happened the second use of the hydration kit. Very disappointed, will be looking for a refund. 1-starUPDATE: Customer service was able to send a replacement I will check it out and update after.UPDATE: Replacement product was this updated version. I really like the improved design. Everything has been working great so far. 5-stars

I have been happy with this hydration bladder, and even more thrilled with the customer service at Cat Nomad. When I received my original item, I followed the included instructions to test the bladder for leaks. Unfortunately, there was a very tiny leak around the seal of the bag. I contacted Cat Nomad about the issue via email. They not only responded immediately, but sent me a replacement hydration bladder, which I received 2 days later. They informed me that they had tested the replacement prior to sending, and then followed up 2 days later to make sure I was satisfied with the replacement. Excellent customer service!As for the product, my replacement is working perfectly! There are no leaks, and the construction seems to be well done. Can't wait to try it out this summer!

The reason I purchased this is because the bitter rubber taste from Platypus is really bothering me. I just used it for the first time past weekend for a 10 mile hike. The bladder is very sturdy. And for the most part, the water is pretty tasteless.I have yet to try soak with lemon or baking soda. I like the nozzle cover, it's a nice touch. The opening is a bit tight makes it hard to wash and dry.

This was the most economically priced bladder with the highest reviews that I could find. The first one that I got had a leak where the hose attaches, but it was replaced with no hassle and I have had no problems with the second one. No funky taste in either bladder also.The thing that stood out for me is when I chewed hard enough to tear the rubber mouthpiece and emailed the company to see if I could get a new one, they mailed me two complete hose assemblies free of charge.

This is my best bladder. It is constructed very well and made to last and at a great price. I like this product so well that I ordered another for a family member. I would highly recommend this bladder.
