Briess CBW Special Dark (3.3 lb) Liquid Malt Extract

I made a high-gravity brew with this malt, Coopers' yeast, and Cascade hops, and it was a big hit at Christmas - nice and rich, thick head, with kind of a chocolately undertone, but dry, not sweet (I hate sweet brews, even if all my guests love them!) I'm going to make it again but this time try for a lighter brew.

I use this for bagels and it adds the perfect malt flavor. Delivery has always been timely and without problem; for four orders.

I've been brewing for several years and I've always found the Briess malt extracts to be consistently well flavored and good for their price. While I've tried other brands, Briess tends to have the best variety of extracts, and always has a deep flavor.

I used this with 2 row grain to make an excellent stout. I was pleasant surprised to get a bold flavor and smooth finish from this extract at a great price. Would buy again at this price.
