KotapSF-4100 Safety/Snow Fence, 4 x 100-Foot, Orange

Works great, easy to unroll and had good packaging.

Product packed well and good quality, it's on the right in this picture. No tears or rips in the fence. This review is for the Kotap fence from seller "Kotap" I ordered in July. The fence I received from Tarps direct was Not as advertised,it was not a Kotap. Many years exp where fence was folded in half. See pictures . Kopat on the right, other on the left.

This is easy to put up with zip ties. I was hoping it would be tough enough to withstand strong winds. We are in blizzard conditions right now and this fence is doing a good job.

I had measured off the length I needed and it was 49’. I put this up and it was 18” short.

This stuff works great. The planets seem to align at my house, and before I put up this snow fence, I had drifts that wowed the neighbors. At least they helped me shovel out. I used one section for two years until it finally bit the dust. Don't understand the bad reviews that say that it tears easily.....south central PA winters are snowy and windy. I used tent pegs to anchor the fence down. Zip ties to anchor to posts. I have just reordered this product for this winter.

Unlike other reviewers, I actually purchased this snow fence to block snow drifts from forming on my driveway. As of now, we have not had a snow storm severe enough to make an accurate judgement. The fence went up easy and I will be able to take it down and store it for next winter, at the end of the snow season.

Time will tell but was more flimsy than I thought it was going to be. I used it as a barrier for a pet when a section of a privacy fence broke in my back yard. It’s been up for a few weeks and is holding up....our pet has not CHALLENGED the fence thankfully. I guess it’s OKAY as long as you aren’t expecting much....you get what you pay for.

Orange construction fence that does exactly what an orange construction fence was created to do. Purpose served!

The main value in this product can be found in its price. This fence is inexpensive but not very robust. The plastic is quite thin as compared to competing products. While the fence will work as a simple barrier, it is unlikely to stand up to any load bearing stress. This fence would be suitable for home owner applications, but not commercial use. 3/5 stars, buyer discretion recommended.

Great product great price. A fraction of the cost of the same available in my area. Using it as a barrier around a bale ring for a horse and yearling steer. So far, 3 weeks in, they have made holes in it, but it still is accomplishing its purpose and keeping the hay inside the ring, and not trampled on the ground.

Note that the quality of this item isn't the same as what you'd get from a similar item from the big box hardware stores. Material is very thin and flimsy. It'll do the job but I would expect it would be a challenge to use this in harsher weather conditions

Price

I purchased because of the price, however this is much thinner than the product purchased at Home Depot. I think it will last a season or two, but not any longer
