A Good Captain Phasma For A Basic 3.75" Scale 5 Points Of Articulation Mission Series Figure
This is a good Captain Phasma figure, knowing and accepting that it's a 5 POA (five points of articulation) figure, and at Hasbro's current standard of quality for 3.75" 5 POA figures. Which is not great, but just okay to good, depending on the figure. She's got five points of articulation, meaning she only moves in the head (which is on a ball joint), swivels at the shoulders and the hips (with a fairly limited range on the legs), and that is all. Sculpted detail is fair. Plastic/construction quality is good, will definitely stand up to child's play. Her cape is removable, which when removed, she almost looks like a different character altogether. Paint apps are not perfect, with minor paint runs, which is not good when there's so few paint apps on the figure. My copy especially had some paint issues with the black along the "mouth" area. The metallic silver color she's molded in is pretty nice. And I do really like the fact that even at this size and price point, Hasbro did scale her quite accurately. She stands considerably taller at 4.25" compared to the First Order Stormtrooper at 3.75".Included accessories are her blaster rifle and a buzz saw weapon accessory that can be combined with two others (that come with mission series Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker respectively) to form a larger weapon assembly. What few paint apps that there are on her blaster rifle and combinable weapon are a nice touch. Although it would have been nice if her blaster was more silver in color. But, her blaster rifle can be "holstered" via a slot on the figure's right thigh, also a nice touch. Although the combinable weapon, being some sort of buzz saw machine in this case, isn't very good on its own, in my opinion. The artwork of Captain Phasma in action on the front of the card is nice, especially since we didn't really see her in action in The Force Awakens. All in all, for the regular retail price of $7.99, she's fairly worth it, especially if you're a fan of the First Order, you'll want her to lead your Stormtroopers. But, much more than retail price and I would not recommend it.

Disappointed and waiting for a better figure
I managed to get this one and another when they were briefly in stock at Amazon. Be patient and wait - don't support the scalpers. As for the figure, it is a big disappointment. Maybe I got spoiled with all of the super articulated E3 figures, but there is no excuse for the VERY limited articulation. I was looking forward to having this and Kylo Ren posed in my office, but with Phasma, your options are "at attention" or "looky here, I have a cool blaster." Sure, the sculpt is better than the old Kenner ones, but this is 2015, not 1977. We know we should expect better. As for the paint job, this is PHASMA! Her armour is chrome, not silver. At least the Kylo Ren looks a little cool, but I still would not rate it higher (robes molded to the legs? Why could you not sculpt it like the original Darth Maul?)As for now, the only other option appears to be the Black 6", and I would not mind the money, but I am not collecting 6". Is this what we can expect now that Disney is in charge? Cheap regular characters and the expectation to pay $20 for a decent figure in the Black series (anyone know when a 3.75" is coming out in Black?). I simply want what we came to expect as fans from the Episode 3 ROTS line - a good sculpt, a good paint job (c'mon, chroming this could not cost that much - at least a shinier silver!), and at least functional elbows, if not knees. I am giving this away as a stocking stuffer to a young nephew who will appreciate it more than I.

Wonderful figure
Star Wars action figures were not originally collectibles, but fans' wanting to collect the figures have now spanned several decades. Both adults and kids enjoy the thrill of the hunt when searching for those hard-to-find figures to help them complete elaborate displays of their collections (or just throw them in storage boxes like I do). However, the movies are not the only medium that sparked Star Wars action figures. Television shows, video games, and anniversaries also led to the release of new figures at different times. For example, collectors can find figures from the "Force Unleashed" video game, the television series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," and special editions released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first movie's release. This is a wonderful figure and will be sure to either bring hours of enjoyment in play or adorn that collector's wall. I received my figure quickly and in good condition.

Good for price
It took me 6 months to find a Capt. Phasma figure at a reasonable price. She has 5 points-of-articulation. She is articulated at the head, arms, & hips. Her cape is a soft plastic, which is fine. I'm not bothered by the lack of articulation b/c she really didn't do anything in the movie. She comes with a build-a-weapon piece that can be attached to other BAW pieces to make a big weapon. To be honest, IMHO, it's a piece of junk. I'd have rather she come with a stand. In addition, as with all the 5POA figures, Hasbro has created beautiful artwork for the card back. If you want a Capt. Phasma with more articulation then, check out the Walmart Exclusive Black Series 3 3/4" figure.

Captain Phasma has Swag
This Captain Phasma figure is closer to 4" than 3.75". She has a very cool metallic looking blaster, while the figure itself is a shiny silver plastic. I think the silver plastic holds a metallic sheen better than the gold plastic used for many versions of C3PO. I really like the animated sculpting of her plastic cape which sits to the side and gives her "swag." She was one of my my most anticipated figures added to my collection, and I couldn't wait for her to arrive--she doesn't disappoint.

Star Wars The Force Awakens Forest Mission Captain Phasma Action Figure
The Star Wars Forest Mission Captain Phasma action figure was a gift to my 6 year grandson (who loves Star Wars, like his daddy). He also received 4 other action figures from us and "loves" them all. Any child into Star Wars you can't go wrong with action figures.
