Easy to install!
3 bolts and a battery connection and BOOM! Done! Works great - hope it lasts as well as it looks and works!

Best one yet
I've installed many of these on travel trailers over the years. This one was one of the easiest. So far it works like most others but seems a bit nicer than what I've gotten from other manufacturers in the past. Hopefully it holds up for a number of years of service.

It Works
It is the best price for a good power jack

Good but small issues.
Kind of dumb that they put paint where I needed to remove it on the bottom of the device around the screw holes. If you raise it all the way up it pops the fuse. I recommend anyone that gets this buy 30 amp breaker fuse replacements. Little slow I think I may wish to use my drill but have not tried that yet. I can live with the speed though. Took me a minute to realize what the on off switch is for. It is to turn on and off the hitch light.

24' RACECAR TRAILER INTALL. Read DETAILED review
Used on a 24 ft enclosed racecar car hauler. I want everyone to learn something from this review, so racecar spelled backwards is RACECAR. This jack is perfect for a car hauler with the car in it. I have my winch battery in the trailer, but run a extra "charging wire to the battery in the truck, through the trailer connector. This keeps the battery always charged in the trailer, so in return, your jack will always be charged. The only negative about this jack is something that may not be a negative with some people. I think it is slightly slower than i like. About 30 seconds by watch.....i know that 30 seconds may not sound like much....especially when unhooking the trailer at 8am on Sunday morning always was a nightmare i dreaded.......(yaw know those trailer bars im talking about). But even with the "slower than i like motor"2, i will still give it a 5. I paid $100 shipped for this. Remember, something is built, produced and sold, because it works......and this works very well. So 5 stars is what it deserves. To the engineers whom i hope this is forwarded to. From the advice of a 3D aeronautical engineer to the mechanal engineer that designed this......Please use slightly more coarse threading on your shaft. Like the jackscrew on the tail of a airplane, this determines the strength, as well as the time that it takes to move it up and down.

Outstanding product.
Obviously more powerful than the 3500lb lift jack I am replacing. Looks good too. If I had one thing I would add It would a four hole foot piece for quicker setup. The foot piece is not adjustable. But unit has more than enough stroke to lift and lower about anything. It just takes a minute more.

Do Not Buy This Blackhawk power jack
I purchased this jack I read the instructions. I had my 17' Burro camper net weight 1500 lbs attached to my vehicle. I removed the old hand jack, cleaned surface with drill & wire brush so to have a proper ground. This Blackhawk only has one wire for the positive so requires jack to be grounded to trailer. installed Blackhawk power jack attached the positive to the battery light worked jack went up I removed vehicle jack went down and I thought great. Two days later I needed to move my Burro went to the up button nothing checked light dead. I got my new battery and hooked it up Dead! I had to manually raise and lower my burro just to get it moved. I made contact with seller informing them that I have a definitive unit and need a return and was willing to spend more money for a better or bigger Blackhawk and waited two days. I received a response telling me to check the jack with a battery charger hooking the red wire to the jack wire and the black to the bottom of the jack to make it work. This Not been my first DC trailer electric work i preformed in my life so I followed their request and nothing totally dead! I have writen back on this same format this been the third time and my last! Customer service is 00. When I try to add photos or have hit the send button it doesn't work. One time I just hit send on this site and it just went blank. I feel like they don't care so I will deal with my Amazon card provider Chase I will file a refund.
