Gift RepublicGR850006 Cool Cactus Grow Tin

This is a cute little tin bought as a gift for a 12 year old. I cannot comment on how well it grows as it is too soon to say, but it makes a lovely little stocking filler which is a bit different.

Got as a secret Santa gift, and planted back in march, so a little over 6 months growth - looking great, and about ready to upsize into a bigger pot. Needs more water than I expected, which might explain some of the limited results that others experienced.

To everyone who said nothing grew, it’s taken quite a long time but there are little sproutings coming. Fingers crossed they carry on growing. I kept the lid on to keep it moist and removed it to let a bit of air in occasionally. Will post more photos of progress if any

Unfortunately this didn’t work or grow at all .

Bought as a gift but with low expectations since I stupidly read the reviews AFTER buying it, I may need to replace it with something else.On the plus side, it came very quickly, is about the size of a small drinks can, and looks like a fun little gift… if it would only work.

Started growing on the 30th January and followed instructions exactly, it is now 1st March and still not a sign of life. Was a birthday gift for someone who wanted to grow their own cactus rather than buy one, very disappointed so far.
