LENTION 3.3FT Long Cable USB C Hub with 4K HDMI, 100W PD, USB 3.0 A&C Data, Card Reader&LED Indicator for MacBook Pro/Air, Dell XPS, HP, Chromebook, Stable Driver Adapter (C37-1M, Space Gray)

I got this hub, with a long cable, to plug into the USB-C port in the back of my Windows desktop. I needed (1) a long cable and (2) at least one USB-C data connection. I looked at lots of hubs, and they're called USB-C hubs because they plug into a USB-C port. But for some unknown reason they provide zero USB-C data ports on the actual hub. This one has a USB-C data port, which I presently use for my iPhone. Also, apparently because I have a desktop, the USB-C data port also charges my iPhone. So there's no need for the external power supply if you have a desktop. I already had a USB-C to USB-C cable, but the connection with my iPhone wasn't consistent, so I ended up getting a fast 1 ft. cable from Cable Matters that works great. After I got the USB-C working, I then plugged in an SD card, and then plugged two devices into the USB-A ports. So 4 devices were connected at once, and all 4 devices worked fine. And I additionally tested all of the devices that I plug in occasionally on the USB-A ports, and they all worked. An excellent hub that freed up a USB port on the top front of my desktop, and gives me the additional connections that I need. Highly recommended!

Works great for my setup! Got this so I could hide all my cords under my desk and have everything connected. It is super easy to use, now I can plug in my laptop to this and it can be charging, be connected to my mouse, keyboard, and monitor all with just one cord. I love the long cord on this, I can hide the station under my desk and comfortably wrap the cord up to my computer which was exactly what I was looking for. It’s pretty fast connecting to everything, just a few seconds. I wish it had one more hdmi port but otherwise a great value for the price.

Pros: Great cord length Passthrough power Great port selection—what I need without extras Cons: Runs fairly hot Audio port (more below) Overall, a great dock/hub at a very attractive price. Being able to unplug my work laptop with one plug makes my home office setup much better, as I no longer have to fish around for cords when it's time to reconnect. One issue I have is that the mic port has cross-over noise with outgoing audio. I don't have this issue with the laptop itself, but when I plug the cord into this doc, the mic goes "live" on my speakers (i.e., if I tap the mic, I hear it on the speakers).

I've gone through a dozen or more HDMI-ports for various USB-C and USB-A laptops. This is the first one that has power pass-through (USB-C, 60W), USB-A (3.0) for a wired keyboard and IR-mouse, AND HDMI port that works without a hitch (Mac OS, Chrome OS) while also allowing the hub to sit below and behind my laptop thanks to the long, thick connector cord. I tried connecting the hub via a USB-C-to-A adapter, but none of the ports work, as expected. But if you have a full-featured USB-C port on your machine, this hub makes using a laptop as a home work station much more feasible. I'll update my review if any of the ports stop working.

I put my computer to sleep every night. When I wake it up, it takes 5-7 minutes before the computer recognizes the hub & activates my monitor, keyboard & mouse. Very frustrating. My old hub which is like 4 years old had an instantaneous response, but the cable was too short & this one has a nice long cord and makes for a less cluttered desk, except for starting up when I have to pull my laptop out and move the mouse & keyboard out of the way. ***************Update: I have changed my review from 3 starts to 5. The seller contacted me, which was a surprise & recommended a fix. I followed their recommendation and the hub is now working flawlessly. Thank you to a responsive seller ***********

Until yesterday, I have not had a need to use the SD card slot, but when I tried to insert the card yesterday it would not fit. The slot is too small for the card. Very disappointing. I purchased two of these almost two years ago and most slots work fine including the HDMI. My monitor works just fine as long as I don't jiggle the adapter too much when plugging in other items. Always comes back though. It does not heat up, but USB drives plugged into it get very hot. Don't touch the metal part when you remove the USB drive.

I just do not like the stiff cord.

Al conectar cargador > hub > laptop, sí carga pero se pierde la comunicación sobre el estado de la batería, lo que resulta en una reducción de carga y vida útil. Lo mejor es conectar el cargador directo a la lap y este hub en otro puerto USB-C.

Very pleased, most usb ports have a short cord, this has plenty of cord and is loaded with the features i was looking for

Works as intended, fast and efficient solved a big problem for me for a fraction of the cost in the market.
