I2C & Power Extender End Node - 2 Pack

Bottom line, it didn't work in my application. I'm not sure if I got a defective unit. I looked at the remote end output with a scope and the signal was incredibly noisy as compared to the input. The bus I was extending was 100 ft of CAT-5 with my I2C bus running at 100 kHz. Clearly within the claimed capability of the device. Simple questions posted on the support forum went unanswered. I didn't pursue this further as a solution so I can't speak to what the problem was. I solved the problem by putting an inexpensive processor (Arduino UNO) near the location where the I2C sensor needed to be and wrote code to return the result via a serial port. I think this was ultimately a better solution anyway.

The parts arrived as promised and worked perfect when installed. Study the documentation carefully and you will be able to utilize the devices to their full potential. I have not tested the devices with more than 100ft of cable .

I bought this to connect a digital temp/humidity sensor to a long cable. Works as advertised. No problems.

Worked as advertised. It is doing my job.
