IT HAS IT ALL!
When you've been in HR for 18 years, you think you know something until you read anything this author has available. I originally started following him on LinkedIn and have excelled in my career since getting my hands on his books. Anything you could think of is there in black and white: what to say, how to say it, when to say it, what to do, and how to do it, from beginning to end. I am so grateful for the work he put into making this easy-to-read, straight-to-the-point series. I have increased my income by multiple tens of thousands of dollars and landed a job with a team of people who share my work ethic and dedication to their careers. I can't thank the author, Alan Collins, enough. He is the GOAT!

I am ready to my next job interview!
I have just finished reading the book. It is a must-read for everyone willing to succeed in a job interview. The author covers absolutely all topics related to preparing the interview, performing it and negotiating your job offer. He also shares relevant tips for those having the interview by phone or video conference. My favorite chapter is #5: "Interviewer Questions, Part 1 - The 10 most frequently asked questions you absolutely must nail... or you're toast." The questions are: Question #1 Tell me about yourself Question #2 Why are you interested in this HR position? Question #3 What is your biggest strength? Question #4 What is your greatest weakness? Question #5 Where do you see yourself three to five years from now? Question #6 Why did you leave (or why are you leaving) that employer? Question #7 In looking over your work history, I'm concerned. Can you explain__________? Question #8 What are your salary expectations? Question #9 What is the most significant project you have led or accomplished in your career? Question #10 What makes you the best fit for this job? Frankly, you seem to have too much (or not enough) experience. What I loved in the book is that the explanations fit all kind of job interview. You can quickly adapt the suggestions for answers to the type of industry and field corresponding to your situation. I really recommend this book and wish you good luck in your next interview.
