It was shipped very quickly and my 3 yr old granddaughter claimed ownership immediately. I gave it a quick wash and she immediately put her grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and apple slices in the compartments on the plate. I was looking for utensils that had more of a point on them as the plastic sets she currently has have very thick tines and her pancakes and food keep falling off or too difficult to pick up with the fork. Although the tines and this fork are a bit thinner and not as narrow as i had hoped, she was able to use it to pick up the food from her plate relatively easily. This set is definitely worth the price, very sturdy and durable.
