Fantastic book! Again!
I started this book immediately and loved it so much. The authors writing is beautifully consistent, and the story seamlessly continues where the previous book left off. And although so much happens in the previous book, it left me wondering what more could possibly happen, but the author certainly managed to come up with some great stuff to keep me on the edge of my seat.As the story progresses, the relationships among the characters deepen and the group dynamics changes, which in itself would be quite complex issue to deal with, but unfortunately it is not the only thing the characters have to work on. The war is brewing and as much people welcome change Paige is bringing, there are some who are very much opposed to changing the old ways. So, Paige is spread thin dealing with her emotions towards her companion, her recent loss, and several factions that are after her position. However, awesome that she is, and the awesome support she gets from he most amazing companions (who are also superhot), she manages to find the best interim solutions for the situations at hand. The book is full of love, friendship, lust, acceptance, and then some more love. There is betrayal, of course, and a whole lot of bad people, but sometimes alliances come from unexpected places. This was an amazing continuation of the series and I can't wait to see what comes next!!!The series should be read in order: A Torn Paige (Hidden Kingdom Trilogy Book 1), A Lost Paige (Hidden Kingdom Trilogy Book 2), and A Final Paige (Hidden Kingdom Trilogy Book 3), coming soon.

It just gets better and better!
I stayed up until 2am reading this one. I jumped right in to it after the first one, and I couldn't put this one down either! I am a huge fan of this trilogy! Just when you think you have it figured out, YOU DON'T lol. The storyline keeps you interested and guessing what's to come. And my God the sex scenes are through the roof. Multiple alpha males with an alpha female...then throw in Lucifer and you will just have to read it to find out!!! This is so so so good. Can't wait until Feb. for the final one and getting to see what happens with everyone. Every emotion was felt with this one and the last. Alot of tears and out loud laughs while reading, makes for an awesome Author. Kudos yet again Lila!

Loved the whole series
This review is for the full series, but each book individually is great. I loved this series. It was funny and heartwarming, which is surprising considering several character actually eat human flesh and there’s plenty of violent fights. Despite following the typical storyline for these types of books, the author was able to make it stand out using humor and not repeating some of the same boring troupes we always get in these types of stories. The FMC was 25, instead of being a teenager (thank you!), and didn’t have a horrible traumatic past, she actually had a supportive family. I loved the men and that they also loved each other (there is lots of m/m), and that it wasn’t just for Paige to watch or convenience.. The men were alphas but never treated like she was helpless, and loved her and each other as they were. Paige’s reactions and thoughts were hilarious, even when she was killing people. The whole extreme jealousy we often see in these types of books from the alpha men is done differently here by explaining that everyone is super possessive and jealous in their relationships, and makes for some really hilarious scenes. I also liked that the author didn’t try to shy away from the fact that they are different and are “monsters” by mentioned what they eat and having them transform into their other forms often, it wasn’t just treated as if they are humans with powers.Normally with these types of series I am ready for them to be done even if I like them because they sometimes can drag one with 5/6 books, but that was the opposite with this series, I wanted more! I liked the characters, particularly Paige, so much that I wanted to read more about their lives after.

What the...
So lots happen in this book in such a short time. Paige grows more and more. We find out how blood thirsty she is with those she deems are hers. Ezra being loss is a hard one for her to manage. We find out a trap is made to draw Paige to Selma. We find out Selma is not there but Grace. She is using blood magic to get revenge. Thorn and Alex are sent to Hell and try to stay alive while finding a way out. Demons are working with Grace. Paige and Grace have a stand off and Paige kicks ass. All their friends and allies help. Aggie, becomes a vamp/witch hybrid. We meet Lucifer and find out an advisor of Paiges’ is not who they really are. Paige ends up adding one more to the harem and we find out a shocking twist with that bit of info. The world building is amazing. All the characters have depth and chemistry. Nothing is forced, everything just flows seemlessly. Definitely read in order they all start where the other ends.

Just as good as the first book!!
This story has quickly sucked me and has made it impossible for me to be productive on my days off from work. The author kept the momentum going from book 1 with all the drama that has found Paige and her men in her new role as queen. More characters were introduced that have already proven their loyalty to Paige, the return of my beloved Ezra who is now more than just a highly intelligent and animated hellhound, completion of the bonds between Paige and her men, more alliances and possible enemies, and plenty of panty melting steamy scenes. This series is phenomenal and I can’t wait to read the final book of the series. The writing is fantastic with minimal typos and context errors. The flow of the story is seamless and never seems disorganized or lackluster in regards to details and descriptions.

Amazing second part of this phenomenal trilogy!!
Very rarely do you read a book that is better than the first but A Lost Paige is just as good or maybe better than A Torn Paige!!I can't decide what I loved the most, the hot sexy action or the twists Lila Rose surprised us with. This book was faced paced with twists, turns, surprises and a demon that was likeable?I am not a big fan of cliffhangers but Lila Rose could write every book with one and I would immediately one click! I am loving this trilogy and can't wait till the final installment!

Bonds Are Tightened
This second book of the Hidden Kingdom Trilogy builds on the first nicely. We get to see how the bonds between Paige and her mates are made permanent and how the various mates interact with each other. Here’s a clue, there are quite a lot of MM scenes in this book. The book is rather full of lots of steamy scenes, but it still manages to move the plot forwards as we get to understand the various supernatural races a little bit better. There is also a rather strong demonic presence in this book, this isn’t *always* bad.Paige and her loyal subjects have to deal with those within the Hidden Kingdom who don’t want things to change. There are some individuals who don’t want all races to be treated equally because that might threaten their own position, or there are those that don’t think same sex matings should be allowed. Having to fight on several fronts at once can leave a strain, and Paige and her loved ones have to count on each other to pull through.I like how Paige develops in this book, because she shows her weaknesses as well as her strengths. She shows her emotions to her subjects and its not seen as necessarily a bad thing. She’s still trying to get her head around being a monarch, and struggling with letting others fight her battles for her.I also like how the relationships with the Queen’s consorts balance each other out. They all have different strengths and weaknesses and not just power wise, but also experientially and emotionally.I think the next book will be fun, and I can’t wait to read it.

Spoiler alert
I’m a slow reader normally, but these I couldn’t put down. I’m a fan of lila’s writing anyway, I got into these books so quickly. I’m gutted I have so long to wait for the final book! It was obvious that something was going to be different about Ezra, when Lucifer first got in touch I had a feeling it was going to be about him. To start with I thought it was a little weird that her dog was going to become her mate. But then I though it was no different to Nate in some ways. But my being pleased he was ok outweighed the weirdness of him being her new mate. If you can’t bring the next forward I’m sure I won’t be the only one grateful after all it is Christmas 😁
