I have two HP Pavilion laptops that needed these batteries. I purchase them as they claimed to have large extended capacity. Well they are large and it is nice to have my laptop on a desktop slant, however the batteries never fully charge back to 100%. I followed instructions to cycle drain and fully charge the batteries. Did this 3 times over several days. For several weeks I could run my laptops for several hours off power. Then rather suddenly about 6 weeks after using them the battery would drain quickly and I could only get 30 - 40 mins on what reported as a full charge. Now I notice while the PC is on charge it reports 100%. I pull it off charge and the power available immediately drops to 43% remaining. Tried power draining full charge cycling exercise but it did not revive these batteries. This battery is flawed.UPDATE. The company responded to this review. They apologized and promptly sent another battery. They reminded me that this product has a 12 month warranty. With this pro active approach to customer satisfaction I will bump up my rating on this product.

I have never had a double battery, but this was two batteries run in parallel. Plus, it was so cheap too! It came fully charged. I am hoping for great things. The laptop now sets up like it had another battery on it, so is very much at a steep angle. I put the original battery I had under the front and now it is flat. Love it so far, too bad no longer being sold. Will update how long it lasts. Most batteries last 6 months for me and then trash. Guess that is best batteries are, just consumable, but cool when they are new.

Got this to replace a rather possibly used up and damaged battery in a used HP Pavilion dv4-1465dx series laptop. Far as I can tell the past several months, after following the instructions it's included, it works as expected and pretty darn well. I don't get an insane amount of time or charge, but if I'm a little careful about what I'm running and at what brightness level, I can expect up to four or so hours, maybe a little more if I'm doing light work with the screen dimmed. For a battery at this price, I don't think that's too shabby, and had picked one of this up on the recommendation of another friend who said the batteries was breathing new life into an aging laptop of his. It also fits physically well into the laptop, and seems to charge a-okay. If I have any serious issues with it in the *near* future, I'll update my review however.

This battery is GREAT! We've had three batteries for this PC, and this is the best one by far (including one that way far more expensive). Holds a charge for 3-4 hrs, depending on whether you're surfacing the web or not. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the way it sits at the bottom of othe computer is uncomfortable -- if the PC is truly sitting on your lap. If it's sitting on a counter, it's actually a bit more ergo-friendly, because it sits at an angle. Would definitely buy this again.

Everything started out splendidly. Then, after less than 12 months of VERY INFREQUENT usage, the battery will no longer hold a charge. This was a terrible purchase and I can't recommend anyone buy this battery or from this company.*Update 10/31/17: The company reached out to me immediately upon seeing my review and sent me a replacement battery no questions asked. This unsolicited response is what customer service is all about. Changing my review from one star to four stars.

I am not the typical online shopper. I really like to purchase from brick and mortar and know that if I buy something I can return it without any issues. That being said, I was having no luck buying a new battery for my ancient computer. I took a chance on this one and I can tell you it has exceeded my expectations. I bought this battery in January of 2017 and now in April of 2018 it is still running strong! Great value for the cost! Been having problems with computer shutting after 15 minutes says battery is low and I restart and it goes for 15 minutes. It has lasted over 2 hours but it just shuts the computer off with out warning. Now I have a issue with my cooling fan running when I have this battery installed. If I take the battery out and run on AC power the fan shuts off. If I put my old battery in the fan does not run but it only last for a short while. I have calibrated the new battery numerous time. The computer runs fine under AC power. The computer runs fine with old battery (but battery is weak). With new battery have issues with turning off with out warning and computer cooling fan runs all the time. Have calibrated battery numerous times with no remedy.

did not fit at all in my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop!!. wrong item:update: Amazon is wonderful, refunded immediately.
