It's a fantastic, cheap battery
This thing powers my Blackmagic Pocket for nearly twelve hours. It's a fantastic, cheap battery. My only gripes:Needs more mounting options on top.The on/off switch is too trigger happy. An accidental, gentle bump will turn it off.The adaptor cord that comes with it will break your camera if you accidentally run into it. They need to design a smaller, more compact adaptor that doesn't stick out six inches away from the camera. I ended up making my own, but it would have been nice if the battery came with a better one.

awesome option for your BMCC
just get this battery. it has a great battery life. not the best but great nonetheless. a great option since the battery inside the camera is weak and it last for about two hours tops. two hours is short when it comes to production

An excellent power source for Blackmagic cameras, and affordable alternative to V-mount batteries for other devices
This is a great purchase if you have a BlackMagic camera, which are famously known for having atrocious battery life. However, what I most use it for is powering my CAME-TV Wireless Follow Focus. That follow focus is powered with a P-Tap (or D-Tap; it's the same port), which on bigger sets would be powered by a V-mount battery and plate. Unwilling to pay the exorbitant prices for a simple battery, I stripped the included Juicebox-to-Blackmagic cable and joined it with a female P-tap cable. Bam! The follow focus works perfectly, and the battery lasts all day. As an independent filmmaker, that's a few more bucks with which to feed myself. The battery also comes with a removable cheese plate mounted on the bottom for mounting on pretty much anything with ath 1/4"-20 or 3/4" screw. It's also nearly box-shaped, so mounting it on your rig with industrial-strength Velcro is an option. When charging, the LED gradually changes from red to green. However, when powering other devices, there's no way to tell how much charge you have left. This usually isn't an issue though, since for me it lasts all day powering a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera or the follow focus, and a good few hours powering the Blackmagic Production Camera. But it's something to be aware of.

A Little Confused with the run time and weird sounds it sometimes makes.
This battery will power a BMCC 2.5k camera for not 3 or 3.5 hours but rather a little under two hours and it makes a infrequent high pitched whine/whistle that gets picked up by your on board and external Mics. I'm thinking there must be something wrong with this particular battery because I haven't read anywhere else that it does this. I'm not sure if it is a flawed battery or if this is actually the design.

Comes with adapter for BMPCC; Enormous capacity
I'll echo what others have said there, but add that although the pictures don't show it, mine came with an adapter for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. No need to buy an additional adapter or cable to make this fit the pocket cam, a small additional piece comes in the box.-------EDITED on January 21, 2016:After using the battery for a while, I can confirm that it has enormous capacity and holds a charge for an incredibly long amount of time. I charged it only once and then used it intermittently over the past several months with my BMPCC without recharging. I finally did have to recharge in December, but that was 3 months after I got it. You can get a lot of mileage out of this battery with the BMPCC. Although I don't have a tally of how many hours I used it for, I know that over those 3 months the battery held its initial charge well and lasted through dozens of charge cycles with the BMPCC. This thing is a monster, and after seeing it in action I can't imagine how one of those cobbled-together BMPCC charger builds I've seen are even close to worth it compared to this.

Smallest Most Powerful Battery for your Blackmagic Camera!
This is by far one of the best small battery solutions! I recently switched from an old Anker laptop battery to this after fearing a sudden failure on the Anker (It's several years old). Now that I've had a month to test and use this in the real world, I have to say it is by far the most battery power in the most compact form you can get for these cameras! My first outing, this battery powered my pocket camera for over 6 hours non stop and it still had more after that. While I do miss the charge remaining indicator like on my old Anker, this battery doesn't need one. Charging times don't matter to me. I either charge overnight or when I know I have a few hours to kill anyway, however, you'd be hard pressed to need to worry about it since it lasts so long. If you're that paranoid, get two. You won't regret it!I've since reconfigured my clunky rig to park this battery in the back as a small shoulder rest. Win win! I'll definitely pick up another soon!

Finicky and not Pro Quality, wish it worked better for the Pocket Camera.
Works great when it works. My BMPCC (Pocket Cinema Camera) does not work with their adapter. I have two Pockets and both have the same issue with their adapter, but my wall chargers work fine.It works good with my Production Camera though. It lasts about half as long as my switronix battery for my Production Camera.

Great battery!
Thus far I am very happy with this battery, it has a crazy long life span. The only issue that I'm having is when it comes to having my camera hooked up to the battery and an external monitor with external power hooked up to the camera at the same time. Depending on what my rig is doing the battery can stop working and needs to be plugged into the charger to get it to work again(or at least there is some sort of short protection on the battery, which I would be grateful of if that's the case). I'm assuming that it's from the extra juice from the monitor plugged into the camera, if the HDMI is stable this doesn't happen though. Not a major issue but a heads up.Thanks for a great product!
