ACDelco Gold 337-1112 Starter

It's a great price for an OEM starter, and it was very easy to install. The only issue, which is extremely minor, is that the nuts on the terminals were a different size than the ones on my original starter. A tad annoying when you're already under the car, so check them beforehand so you can take all the right wrenches with you.But once installed, it worked perfectly. Crisp, quick starts each time now.

Replaced 19-year-old OEM starter before it goes out. Basic hand tools needed 13mm are the two bolts that hold the starter in, the main wire is also 13mm, the smaller wire is 8mm. This starter has higher a pitch start noise than the OEM, but it states that in the paperwork.Loosened the front tire bolts, disconnected the negative on the battery, jacked the truck up, put jack stands under, removed the front tire for more room to work, loosened the 13mm bolts, pulled it back then forward and dropped right out, loosened the 13mm and 8mm. Installed in reverse order.Total install 10 minutesTotal install and tools put up 30 minutes

i have been buying parts and such from amazon for years, sure once in a while difficulties will come up..this time ..i ordered my starter surely arrival was swifft, but unit was damaged, i took it lightly understanding the freight handling and returned it, again great service with UPS no problem right?..well got the second unit just to learn that does not fit or should i say,,its SMALLER,SHORTER...but technology its doing just that so i had it hard time making it fit even tho IT DOES NOT FEEL GOOD, feels that fits loosely in the bell housing as if the diameter is wrong (not like the original), i suspected it was for the 2.2 4 cyl engine, i check NO, it calls the right number for my truck, what the heck its goin on?..as am typing this am getting ready to take the devil off again y run to autozone to tested..something its wrong,if not ill be returning it AGAIN and settle for local store..point is DISSAPOINTMENT this time with amazon...UPDATE...took it off inspected, inspect the wires..ONE WAS BROKEN, repaired it installed it,,satisfied!!!

It's not a GM OEM starter and it did have a bent screw post but my mechanic installed it in an hour and my ZR2 Blazer cranks up like it's new again. I hope it lasts. I always buy direct from Amazon if possible to avoid counterfeits.

Perfect OEM replacement for my 99 Chevy Blazer, replaced orginal went out on me with a dura last but was huge mistake. Best to buy original for your vehicle cant go wrong w/ AC Delco!!
