Betty Crocker Basting Brush Silicone

This is a great basting brush! I got tired of the occasional bristle in my food from my old basting brush, so thought I would try one of these. I didn't think it would hold liquids and oils like the bristle brush, but it actually does a very good job. I also like the bright color which matches many of my other cooking accessories, so I keep it in an accessory hold on my counter top. I always place it with the brush side down in my dishwasher tableware rack, and it cleans up very nicely. Great kitchen tool at a very reasonable price!

Works great and is easy to clean! This was way easier than a bristle brush.

The brush is great and works well. My issue was that when it came, it was really dirty! It was covered in what felt like dirt and glitter! So much glitter! I almost threw it away, but after washing it a few times, I got all of the residue off.

If like me you're looking for a low cost basting option that will work for both baking as well as cooking then I think you'll be quite delighted at this option. The red color is so magnificent that you might catch yourself getting lost in the bristles.
