Will this work with dark brown Black Copper Marans eggs?

Worked on mine. Needs to be very dark. Though based on reviews I thought it would be brighter than it was. I also paired with a second candler at different angle to luminate more when needed.

Has anyone tried this with button quail eggs? They are smaller even than coturnix quail eggs and are notoriously difficult to candle....
