Really nice board. It’s the only safe way to learn. It’s durable and you’ll have fun. I bought a new one and it arrived packaged properly and is in good condition.

Meh
Board sock came ripped and the board itself had a few pressure dings on the bottom. Overall it is a decent foam board.

Awesome board!
The board is fantastic. It's been durable and esthetically pleasing. Also, its great for beginners and the stability is perfect. The only downside is the leash that comes with the board. It broke after a few uses. Although it was easy to re-tie. Aside from that, the leash tangles up and can be dangerous in big waves when it's all wrapped up. I highly recommend buying another leash. Don't forget to purchase wax too! I still highly recommend the board. I've used it every weekend since it was purchased without fail. Great value for money!

Skateboarder trying to surf
Ok. Fast backstory. I’m a lifelong skater. I’m mid 30s and don’t recall a time I didn’t skate. So skating feels like walking to me. Popping stairs, hitting rails, carving whatever outside of vert lol. So balance is great. Went to Hawaii and wife got me a surf class. Was put on a 9’ rode it well enough instructor said “you are doing so well let’s switch” put me on his 8’. I was doing good on that. So I bought the 8’ wavestorm to start my journey. As it is summer in north fl the first chance of catching waves at a time I was off was yesterday morning. Nothing big 1-2’ florida summer mush but had a ball. What I’m trying to get at is this board is extremely easy to catch waves and balance. But if you have a lifetime of board sports and aren’t rotund I recommend the 7’ model. Backstory to help you evaluate what is BEST FOR YOU Skated almost every day of my life Spent most summers growing up on a wakeboard or skimboard This is only posted in hopes y’all guys have a good comparison to know what will be best for you and your level of ability at least balance wise or whatever. Hope this helps. Also the best guy surfing or skating is the one who has the most fun. Peace brothers

Fun Board for the quiver, great loner boards for the novices in the family
Great board for paddling or beginner surfers. They are making these much better than when they first came in the market years ago, better fins, better stringers (so less flex in the board.)
