MUXXNWomen's 50s Vintage Short Sleeve Pleated Swing Dress

This dress is a comfortable texture setting. It makes you feel like a true Vintage Modern Woman. The color I bought was baby blue. I have had lots of compliments on this color as I am a little caramel dark skin complexion. The only thing is if you going to bend forward you will need to be careful as it will show your under garments. When it comes to the true size, always go one to two size bigger than your regular size. In overall I give this vintage dress a 5 star definitely.

It wasn’t a good fit and didn’t like the material

Ordered by looking at the sizing chart. I’m 5’0” about 235 lbs. Normally a size US16. I’m pear shaped... 44” bust (Size 38DDD/ F bra) 39” waist and 52” hips. Bought this dress for a wedding. Needed it to be gray to go with the theme as I was the “keeper” of my son and niece who were the ring bearer and flower girl. So my sister in-law and I wanted to be somewhat uniform. Love the style of this dress and from the reviews, seemed like I’d love it in person as well. Well, I was right! Paired this with pointed toe black flats (as I am not the most keen on heels) and received many compliments. I only have two gripes about this piece. One is that if you are busty, this dress will show a lot of cleavage... ALOT! (See pictures I provided) The band to define the waist that is built into the dress would not sit the way it was meant to on my body because my breasts are so large. It actually rides up and sits at the bottom of my breasts. Instead of under them. I did try two different bras with this dress. A torrid t-shirt bra which did not work Bc the bra would peek through at times. And a torrid push-up convertible bra. I don’t need the push up but I only own two bras with wire so this one did the trick. I didn’t fall out of the bra or dress but was very mindful Bc it is attention grabbing. The length of the dress is perfect. I love how long it is. Hits about midi length on my body but, I am short. Would have loved it more with a petticoat! The other gripe i have is that this dress is HEAVY! Definitely good quality but so heavy. Heavier than I like my clothes anyway. I wore a spanx higher power breif with this dress which to be honest I could’ve gone without. But I like to feel put together when I’m in a dress at an event so it helped my posture and confidence. I’m used to wearing form fitting clothes or sweatpants so a flowy dress is not my norm. Felt a little exposed without my spanx. But it was not due to the dress at all. The length, fabric and cut was all good. And even though it is heavy, I know I will be getting good use out of this. Buy this dress! But add a petticoat! You won’t regret it! I will definitely purchase from this company again!

I loved the fit and style of the dress I got! The only downside was that the fabric was on the thin side and for the white it made it so I had to rethink what I wore under the dress. The fabric is really stretchy so if you are worried about being between sizes it is forgiving!

I love dresses but I HATE to buy them because I am so hard to fit! I am tall - 5"11" . I have really long legs, a really short torso and shoulders that would make a line backer proud. Of that isn't bad enough, I have a huge rib cage andbasically a negative cup size on a bra! Needless to say I am about 3 - 4 different sizes depending on what section of my body we are discussing. I always have to buy a skirt in one size and a shirt in another, and even worse, I have to get all my shirts tailored because my shoulders need 3 sizes larger than the rest of my torso (I know - it's amazing I ever leave the house -hahaha). I had to go to a very important, very dressy (but not black tie) party for work and my boss told me I HD to wear a dress. I spent hours looking and reading reviews until I was half blind when I found this dress. From the other reviews it seemed like it fit every body type so, for the price I figured I would give it a shot. I followed the advice and ordered two sizes up. The dress arrived in 2 days and it was more beautiful than the picture! Fully expecting to be disappointed and filled with dread, I tried it on. I am SHOCKED to tell you - it fit me like it was custom made!!! Not only did it fit, I can actually move my arms completely! The material is really stretchy which makes it both comfortable and allows you to go nuts on the dance floor (if that's your thing). The dress narrows at the waist and then flares in the skirt so even if you are shaped like a piece of plywood it gives you an hour glass figure. The beauty of this stretchy material is that it makes the dress conform to you instead of the other way around (as with every other dress I have ever tried to wear!). But I think what I like most is that even though this dress is stretchier than my yoga pants, it looks like regular non-stretchy material so you won't look like you are a call girl! I am going to buy more of these dresses! If you are looking for a dress that will fit perfectly and make you look like you have the perfect figure, this is the dress for you - don't forget to order 2 sizes up!

I don't usually write reviews, but I LOVE this dress and received so many compliments on it. I was looking for a solid green dress with half or 3/4 sleeves that also would hide small stomach bulges. I wore it to my brother's outdoor wedding, and because it's a heavier fabric than I would have chosen for a warm night (high 70s/low 80s) I was concerned it would be too hot but it wasn't. The quality is much higher than I expected and the fit is so beautiful -- form-fitting through the bust and waist, but not tight or constricting, and the skirt does hide stomach bulges and also fans out beautifully if you're dancing. So comfortable all night -- standing, sitting, dancing. You could dress this up or down to fit pretty much any occasion, and I can see it on anyone of any age (I'm mid-50s). I can't recommend this dress highly enough, especially considering the price.

Ordered a Medium. High quality, thick material, very stretchy & forgiving. If you’re between sizes order down. Very low cut, lots of cleavage, but a camisole helped. Lots of room for large chests, it didn’t smash me. Only complaint is that the sleeves were not as long as the picture, or the other people’s review pics.
