With 52 dogs to select for these cards, how did they miss basic popular breeds such as the Schnauzers, the Norfolk or Norwich Terrier, the Jack Russell Terrier, the Shiba Inu, the Rottweiler, the Belgian Turveeren and the Fox Hound (to name just a few they missed). Instead, they chose such esoteric breeds as the Italian Pointer and the French Pointer (practically identical to the regular Pointer which they also have in the deck -- thats THREE pointers!), both the Bulldog and Old English Bulldog (also very much alike), the Leonberger and Large Musterlander, among others. Where are these cards manufactured? Who made the choices? The artist or manufacturer? What country are they from? How many Large Musterlanders and Leonbergers are there in the world? Even so, maybe if they had used better judgment in some of the duplications of similar breeds, they would have had room for the ones they left out.
