Get it if you can find it!
As someone who grew up to this music, I assure you this is a fine, fine set! For those who never had it, never listened to it, and give it a low rating because there are no song titles or because of the number of tracks (that's the way they did it in the beginning of the CD era, matching what you would find on vinyl), you would have done better to keep your "keyboard shut" and your rating to yourself. If you can find it used, you'll pay a fraction of the original Time-Life price, perhaps even for new. Here is the complete track list for all three of the set's CDs:The Rock n' Roll Era - One Hit Wonders of the '50s & '60s: Lost Treasures1 Pretty Little Angel Eyes - Curtis Lee/2 Sea Of Love - Phil Phillips & Twilights/3 Stay - Maurice Williams & Zodiacs/4 Happy, Happy Birthday Baby - Tune Weavers/5 Angel Baby - Rosie & Originals/6 Here Comes Summer - Jerry Keller/7 Sorry (I Ran All The Way Home) - Impalas/8 Born Too Late - Poni-Tails/9 Love Letters - Ketty Lester/10 Bobby's Girl - Marcie Blane/11 Over The Mountain, Across The Sea - Johnnie and Joe/12 Let Me In - SensationsThe Rock n' Roll Era - One Hit Wonders of the '50s & '60s: Solid Gold1 Mr. Bass Man - Johnny Cymbal/2 A Little Bit Of Soap - Jarmels/3 Tell Him The Exciters/4 Sally, Go 'Round The Roses - Jaynetts/5 Alley-Oop - Hollywood Argyles/6 Sea Cruise - Frankie Ford/7 Mission Bell - Donnie Brooks/8 The Walk - Jimmy McCracklin/9 Tragedy - Thomas Wayne with DeLons/10 Do You Love Me - Contours/11 Hey! Plenty of great songs in one collection.
Read the previous reviews, and was surprised. This is a great collection of songs, from Pretty Little Angel Eyes, by Curtis Lee, to Little Bitty Pretty One by Thurston Harris & the Sharps. Granted, there are only 36 songs in this 3-disc set, but the quality of the song titles and artists more than compensates for the quantity. There is little to no filler on these discs - all of these songs were genuine hits, they are the original hits (not rerecorded with "some" members of the original group) and a good number are hard to find.

No song titles!!
No listing of song titles should have been a dead giveaway that it was filled with throw-away music!
