Building Up To The Main Event
CLAMP has once again delivered in this next edition of X omnibus, which contains volumes 4-6 of the manga. To sum it up, these three volumes were mostly about introducing the characters who make up the dragons of the earth (the seven angels, or to put it simply, the bad guys) and the dragons of heaven (the seven seals, aka good guys) and were also about introducing the reader to the main conflict of the novel (one side wants to destroy the earth in order for a rebirth to happen, and another wants to preserve it). There were some good action scenes, but there haven't been any major clashes between the seven seals and the seven angels. That of course, is to come in later volumes.Still, there are some interesting developments that happen in these three volumes. I don't want to spoil anything,so I'll be vague:1. There is something strange going on with Fuma, and he seems to have some special power.2. Kamui's purpose in the conflict is revealed and so is the history of his family.3. The end of the 6th volume is shocking, to say the least.4. Remember how Tokyo Babylon didn't really have an ending? Well...I think that CLAMP has been pacing this series very well. All of the backstory that has been included in this volume really adds to the reader's understanding of what's going on. Most of the players have been introduced (if anyone has read Tsubasa, you'll recognize almost all of the characters) and I hope that in the next three volumes, we'll see a fight between the dragons of earth and heaven. But in this volume, don't expect any epic clash between the two sides.Once again, some amazing color pages have been included. The tarot cards have been included once again! The paper used is thick and of a great quality. This volume is easy to hold and I think that the spine holds up well. Overall, if you read the first omnibus volume and enjoyed it, chances are you'll like this one too.

The story starts to get a lot exciting .... and the saddest fate..
is unestopable to come... hehe i didn't know if that's a word, but this story bring a fate for one guy who decides the fate of the entire humanity... by the choice he made he can either save the world or destroy it...Also Tokyo Babylon story characters make an appareance, they're fated to meet again Seichiro and Subaru!

I enjoyed these stories but the progression is pretty slow
I enjoyed these stories but the progression is pretty slow. The art is lovely and the story is compelling so give it a try if you aren't in a hurry to get to the end of the story.

Another Great Omnibus!
Viz does it again with another great omnibus of CLAMP's saga X.In this volume we have what is volumes 4, 5, and 6 respectively. More of the Dragons of Heaven and Dragons of Earth are congregating to Tokyo, gearing up for the battle to happen; which will determine if humanity will live or die. Kamui is fighting himself, thinking about his choice: joining either side and thinking about what it is that he wants to protect.Viz pulls out all the stops as it did with the last volumes. There is a short story about Sorota. There are Tarot illustrations that corresponding with the Japanese volumes. There are also many color pictures included with descriptions on when they first debut in the back of the book. It's another great volume, and I cannot wait for Volume 3.

Defective Product
I’m so anticipating reading this manga and the omnibus is beautiful but unfortunately every copy I order ends up splitting from the spine, so I wouldn’t recommend the omnibus, rather the individual copies from either Amazon or EBay. Hopefully they will fix this issue, again it’s such a wonderful manga they just need to get new binding on the books.
