This mini mushroom Bluetooth speaker is a really cool little speaker to have. The speaker charges via a micro usb cable, the same kind any phone would use which is great because I have a few speakers that use proprietary cables, so I'm happy this uses a standard micro usb cable.The speaker has a few methods you can use to listen to music, the first is of course Bluetooth which works simple enough, just pair your device to the speaker and any music will play from the speaker. The second method is using an auxiliary cable, and the third is just putting in your sd card into the speaker itself. I love having all these options for how I can play my music.The big selling point for this speaker is the fact that it changes colors! There is a few modes you can choose from, and when you play music the speaker will flash colors to the beat of the music. This works really well, and It definitely looks cool especially if you're listening to music in the dark!On to the sound quality section, the speaker gets loud and doesn't seem to distort or sound muffled at any points which is good, the sound is all really crisp and clear, however it is quieter then some even cheaper speakers I have, and while this does allow for some bass, the bass isn't the best.For the price, all the options you have to choose from in order to play your music, and the multiple color changing modes, this makes for a great speaker and I would definitely recommend you pick this up.I received this at a discount in exchange for testing and reviewing the product. I absolutely love this speaker! We have been looking for something portable, rechargeable, durable, and good sound for my daughter for awhile. This has it all and more!Apperance: The colors are bright and she just loves the feature where the sound makes the lights dance! It has a sleek clean structure that would look great on any shelf or table when not in use.Durability: It has withstood the carpet drop test quite a few times with no issues. Also accidentally sat on by brother and tumbled down the stairs. I wasn't sure how it would do for a speaker but it's design makes it very sturdy and easy to clean.Function: The sound is great for a small speaker and very clear. You can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, by 3.5 mm audio cable, or a micro sd card (not included). We really love the sd card option because it allows us to add our daughter's favorite songs and send her on the way. The buttons are fairly easy to navigate and not accidentally bump. The light works well as a night light as well. It stays charged for quite awhile on a full charge and can be used while charging (via micro usb port). Very good quality sound!Over all it was a great product and feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to review this product with my honest opinion for a small discount. This is a great products for people who need something portable, durable and great sound. The whimsical mushroom design is enjoyable but modern/understated enough to be an elegant and sophisticated addition to and decor. A++
