Came "broken" simple fix
Came with one of the sides not lighting up but a simple open up and look around revealed a loosed wire that needed plugged back in fun little project for a friday afternoon. Also looks great LEDs have more than enough modes for me :)

Needs additional stick on pads and it is loud
UPDATE: Wow, like some others experienced, 3 days after getting it, backlight on the display is broken. Didn't wanna hassle with having to package it all back up to send it backThis is definitely built for a 17" laptop. I have a 15", and the rubber pads to lift the laptop off the surface to allow air flow from the fans are way out at the end, so your laptop sits directly on the surface (which these days, many don't have much room to lift it off of the surface it sits on. I moved the stick on pads in to raise the laptop a bit, and you can still notice a difference in the sound from the fans between it sitting there, and slightly lifting the laptop up at the top to allow more airflow. I will definitely be buying thicker stick on feet to allow more air flow. The noise of the fans, even at low speed, are way louder than the single 120mm fan at high speed on my CoolerMaster stand. If you don't like fan noise, you won't want this. Luckily for my use I usually have something playing to drown it out or have headphones on.The lighting is nice, not overly intrusive. I didn't really care for it when purchasing, and thought "Well I'll open it up and disconnect them", but no need to. I don't like it cycling colors, so have it set to a single red color but not annoyingly bright. I also use my stand backwards (I have a 2-in-1, and use it with a keyboard and 24" monitor, so I have it in the mode where it sits on the keyboard with the keyboard going out behind the screen. This allows the laptop screen to be closer to me and raised up to be beside the monitor)The build... ehh... may be my OCD, but the fact that having a cord plugged into both USB ports, and one is angled up, the other is angled down, and the number of reviews about display or led dieing, not too confident in it. Now most people probably wouldn't care, they are on the "back", and as mentioned, I use the stand "backwards". I do like that the way the legs are, there is complete open space under the laptop, where my CoolerMaster has a full base and the arm that limits placing things like keys/wallet under the laptop (again, I use mine facing reverse so the keyboard kick out behind the screen), and the led lights up this area nicely. In the end, I'd rather another CoolerMaster, but those are a bit pricier, (laptop sits on metal mesh, super quiet fan, and 4 port USB hub, and much more sturdy) and seem to be harder to come by these days. The big issue is the noise. I have typed this all with no music or videos playing, and yeah, it is starting to get to me. I actually just kicked it up to a faster fan speed, so the sound of the air flow from the fans drowns out the whine of the fans a tad, not much, but eh... It is what you get when you travel for the holidays and forget the ones you love at home LOL

Quit working after a couple of months of use
I liked it much more for the couple of months that it worked. The cause of it not working was the usb port on the back. It just quit working one day.
