Bought on a whim; daughter *loves* it
My teen loves to pop bubble wrap. I wouldn't have found this item at all if Amazon hadn't recommended it to me, so I bought it for my daughter on a whim. She *loves* it and carries it everywhere with her. The best part, and most unexpected part, is that the keychain emits a little squawk or squeak at random. Very rewarding. Not much like bubble wrap, but still fun. Entire package is in Chinese or Japanese, so don't expect great insights from it. Not that you really need extra information; the product is pretty straightforward.I would definitely buy this again and will do so if my teen breaks or wears hers out. Would be a great stocking stuffer or Easter basket filler.

cute idea, but isn't well executed
I loved the idea of this keychain, and was curious enough to order one. It's ok. The feel of the rubber "bubble" buttons is decent, but the sound is completely wrong. It sounds sort of like "err-eee pa", with the "err-eee" sounding much more like a squeaky bed spring than what I am guessing is supposed to be sound of stretching plastic before the pop. The "pa" is fairly subtle, and in my opinion would be a much better sound on it's own, although it lacks that great snapping pop you get from bubble wrap. Also, the description states that the silly sound occurs every 100th pop, however it occurs every 10 to 15 pops. I find this to be far too often. Also, there is a delay after the silly sound plays before it goes back to the normal sound, and I find this breaks my rhythm of popping. If it only played the silly sound every 100th pop as advertised, I wouldn't be as bothered by this.*Update: there is apparently a Version 1 and a Version 2 of this item. Version 1 has a popping noise, with a silly noise on the 100th pop, as described in the product description. I was sent Version 2, which has the squeaky noise.

Know Your Recipient
Simply put, if the person you give this to is the kind of person who would appreciate being the person you give this to, then the person you give this to will be grateful that they are the person you give this to.It is exactly what it says, a cute little keychain novelty that sounds and acts like bubble-wrap. It's not for everyone, but some people will find it very amusing.

Don't be duped
It pains me to 2 star an item I had very little expectations for but just know whatever expectations you have yourself....this product will fall short. It does not feel like bubbles. It does not sound like bubble. Not by any stretch of the imagination. I believe the idea was cute and they likely had envisioned a higher quality model that works but somewhere in the development process they went for lowest possible piece of junk available to get highest possible profits from the very few amount of people who'd buy such a silly device.I've wasted money on many things without feeling remorse. But this item is so bad that it will give you the feeling that you waved cash out into the air and threw it in the highway where you cant even experience the joy of seeing someone else catch it as you wouldve in the park. It gives the sensational feeling of utter complete wastefulness.I didnt give it one star because I knew itll be junk before I purchased it. But I couldve given 5 stars to junk that I expected to be junk. This fell short of even my most glim expectations of the word junk

ZERO STARS! DO NOT BUY!
I was very disappointed! I would give it zero stars but that isn't listed. I love Think Geek so I thought this would be fun for my husband.First of all the packaging was all in a foreign language ( Chinese or Japanese) and I can't read it. Secondly, it makes no noise when buttons are pushed. Does it need batteries? How would I know! I can't read the directions!!!Finally, I have never written a negative review, but you asked for it!M Thornton.

Great fun
If you know someone who likes popping bubble wrap get this as a gift. Bought it for my sister for Christmas. She can;t resist punching the buttons. Makes a realistic sound. After a certain amount of pops it makes a different sound. I assume that is to let you know you have been popping it for awhile. Now she pops more and more to see what the next random sound will be. Great item.

Meh
The concept is great, the price is definitely on target, but it just didn't meet expectations. Though it feels very much like bubble wrap, the sound is missing. Depending on what aspect of popping bubble wrap floats your boat, (sound or feel), you will be either content or disappointed. I like the sound, so I was a little bummed. The "surprise" sounds are amusing.

Four Stars
It works great. Just as described. There is also a surprise sound every 100 or so clicks.
