Whats with the reviews?
Its weird how a lot of the reviews on here are not even for the product itself. I thought to myself 5 stars with this many reviews.. the product has to be good right? The installation itself was like any other screen protector. You get your basic cleaning items and the screen itself. Everything seemed good, but after a few days there were dust and lint that ended up inside the screen. I've installed a lot of protectors in my days and I've never had this happen. Ive encountered problems with installation and fitting with the case, but never lint getting in once installed. Im thinking its not pairing with my case and its causing the screen to rise at times. Too bad I can't even return the item since it was already installed. Lets see how long this goes before I have to order another screen protector and it won't be the same company

Powerful
I read Redeeming Love based on my best friend's constant suggestion to do so. I rarely read anymore because I am too busy and know that if I start, I run the risk of not being able to put the book down if it is that good. But for some reason after my friend recently referred to the book's amazing character "Michael" during a conversation regarding the topic of marriages...I just went online and ordered it. It arrived on Sunday and I finished all 450+ pages by 7AM Tuesday morning. I thought the book was incredibly powerful. The [long] beginning is very challenging to get through (rough, tragic, disturbing) but I'm glad I stuck with it because I found myself---in the beginning the middle and end---weeping for the characters in the book and also weeping (in a good healing way) with how it made me look at my own marriage. The main characters are Michael, Angel, and God (though his subtle but main storyline is not introduced until Michael's is) . Based on reviews, a handful of readers missed the opportunity to see that Michael does not have to represent all men, and Angel all women. Some reviewers resented Angel being cast in such a horribly "submissive" position throughout. But first, these readers should remember this story takes place during the time of the goldrush when women were not treated equal and were in submissive positions...but second, readers should note that is not how God saw her. The storyline is not at all about women's rights but instead about God's love. The big point is that God will communicate to those [lucky people who listen for him] that He wants them----those who are still safely in the confines of his herd--- to stop at nothing to bring those who are not (those who are the lost sheep), back to him.Ironically, as it turned out, I identified more with Michael and his story...even though I am a woman. If you take this story only as a romance (as it is written), and don't realize that God's talking to / trying to reach these characters is a bigger storyline, then you miss the powerful message of this book.....that God's love is limitless and powerful...and unrelenting. He will never abandon you even when it may seem that way with certain trials you may endure. Redeeming Love conveyed just that, yet while gripping my attention the way any well-written captivating story would.

One of my absolute all-time favorites
I've bought this book at least ten times over the years to give to friends. It is one of the most amazing examples of how God loves and pursues us .... and is willing to let us suffer consequences in order to 'save' us.... But it's not at all 'Christian-y,' so would be a great book to give to a non-Christian friend. This was one of Francine's first Christian books (I knew her personally when I owned a Book Store near where she lived). Prior to her becoming a Christian she was continually a national best-seller in the secular markets. She is am amazing writer, a gripping storyteller, and a truly wonderful woman. I can't recommend her books enough. They are entertaining, can't-put-down stories that will make you think. While it may seem more for the female market, many of my male friends have told me it has helped them better understand how to love their wives. and one of my female friends said it saved her marriage when she realized that her husband's kindness to her, even under difficult situations, was not wimpy-ness, but truley a sacrificial love. One of my Favorites. BUY IT!!

Couldn't put it down
Tragic, historical, beautifully written story that will bring tears to your eyes and pull at your heart strings. This is a redone, biblical version of the story of Hosea but it's set in the 1800s Gold Rush California. This is not for the faint of heart. The story revolves around a young girl accidentally sold into prostitution and the trials she goes through to find love with the man who becomes her husband and God. There are implied scenes that will make you cringe and some graphic scenes that made my stomach pitch and roll. This is a relatively long story, 497 pages, so be prepared for the roller coaster of emotions. I'm not one for biblical books but the biblical portion here is not overwhelming at all. It's actually written so well, you'll find yourself wrapped up in the story instead.I highly recommend this as I have never been so moved by a book in my life. More than once I found myself screaming at the book, crying to myself and praying for a happy ending. Just make sure you set aside time to read where you won't be interrupted and bring tissues!!

One of the best books I’ve ever read
One of the best books I’ve ever read. I read this book before I was a Christian and it stayed with me all these years. I’ve never forgotten this story. It moved me. I give this book to nonbelievers as a way to open their minds/soften their hearts. It’s a must-read for all people!! Definitely one of my top three favorite books of all time!!!

... This should be made into a Movie...
If I'm not capture by the first page then the author has lost me.. I have never read or heard of Francine Rivers before, in fact read this book after reading Masterpiece and saw the comparison review to 'Redeeming Love'. While Masterpiece was good, I can understand why readers fell in love with Redeeming love. It's a beautiful love story with themes running through it from the Book of Hosea in the Bible. I confess, halfway i would have given it a 4.5 if I'm honest. There were times when it didn't show very well when Sarah's mother became a prostitute, it seems like after her lover and then herb parents rejected her she just ended up in prostitution. After being so descriptive with the character 's thoughts the author appears to jump from being a rejected mistress and daughter then at the docks with Sarah selling her body to keep them. However, the story picks back up momentum and is captivating how Sarah becomes Angel and is sold into prostitution and inherits her mother's brokenness and enters what appears to be a unbreakable cycle of learned behaviour of the soul. Then in the background and coming to the forefront of Angel's life is Michael Hosea. He falls in love with Angel right in the middle of her broken mess of life. I'm glad he wasn't a Mr Perfect in all his ways and that he was challenged by his own weaknesses and pride. His heartbreak when she keeps running away back to the only thing she knew and her betrayal. He keeps going after her and 'choosing ' to forgive her each time until the penny drops and he realises he has to give her up and let her choose him. I would recommend this book to beloved of non believer. True love is not shallow, it runs deep. It hurts and it cannot be destroyed. The theme of God's unconditional love is moving and humbling. The author capture d Angel 's self hate and if course hating and wanting nothing to do with God.Finally. I would be interested to see this out on a big screen but it would need a cast who could be true to its authenticity and not spare blushes. E.g. Like Passion of the Christ is probably the most authentic portrayal I've seen to what was true of that time.A beautiful and powerful message of real love 'no strings attached '.

A must read!
I had just finished Francine Rivers the masterpiece and wanted to read another of her books, this was amazing! Set in the days of little house on the prairie, and after a tough beginning reading about Angels awful start in life (which at times was very uncomfortable to read), the book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions as you learn about a God’s relentless search for us and His love. At times I wanted to cry for Angel and Michael as they went through their trials and scream ‘what are you doing!’ and towards the end I couldn’t put the book down as I wanted to see what would happen next. It is such a powerful picture of our walk with God and how He perseveres until we begin to fully trust Him and accept His love. A must read for Christians and non Christians alike.

Captivating!
This book is about the unconditional love of God , HIS grace and mercy . How HE keeps drawing us to HIMSELF in a gentle way . HE brings us to HIS knowledge through love not by force. Amazing ! Awesome God is HE.Every Christian needs to read this book and we should ask God to teach us how to love like HIM and how to live a life preaching Christ not just in words.Thank you for the book Francine Rivers.Indeed how great the father loves us.

best book ive ever read! very moving.
ive read thousands of books- this isnt a joke, im a bookworm and have been reading hundreds of books a year since i first learned to read- and i have to say ive never read such an amazing book.I hate christian fiction, so i wasnt sure about reading this book but i liked the sound of the story line so after seeing it at my local library, decided to give it a go, and im so glad i did, i love this book, so much so in fact i ended up buying it!It has a sad beginning but once you get past that its a beautiful story about:California’s gold country, 1850. A time when men sold their souls for a bag of gold and women sold their bodies for a place to sleep.Angel expects nothing from men but betrayal. Sold into prostitution as a child, she survives by keeping her hatred alive. And what she hates most are the men who use her, leaving her empty and dead inside. Then she meets Michael Hosea, a man who seeks his Father’s heart in everything. Michael obeys God’s call to marry Angel and to love her unconditionally. Slowly, day by day, he defies Angel’s every bitter expectation, until despite her resistance, her frozen heart begins to thaw. But with her unexpected softening comes overwhelming feelings of unworthiness and fear. And so Angel runs. Back to the darkness, away from her husband’s pursuing love, terrified of the truth she no longer can deny: Her final healing must come from the One who loves her even more than Michael does…the One who will never let her go.Read it, i seriously doubt you ll ever find a more moving story. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.

A Book for your life.
I rate this book a 5 out of 5 for reasons beyond the fact that is a very good novel. The title of my rating 'A Book for Your Life' was chosen because it is loosely modelled on the story of Hosea in the bible, but more so because it is directly modelled after the love that Christ has for us. I have read this book more than 10 times and every time I am forced to reflect on my life. Get this and know what true love is, and a good read as well!

A treasure of a book!
It took me a while to follow up one of my best friend's recommendations - I borrowed her book and have since bought my own, shared it with members of my youth group and bought it as presents for many of my friends and family.Based on the story of Hosea from the Old Testament, it is the story of Gods love for his people who constantly turn away from him and try to distance themselves from his love - and yet he pursues them with a forgiving and compassionate love that knows no bounds despite the pain it causes him. It is all told through the love story between a very damaged young girl and a man who knows God and is given God's heart for this woman and shows her how to be loved and how to be free. This was the first time that I truly understood the book of Hosea and now read it in a whole new light. It has also shown me the outworking of unconditional love and its bitter sweet nature.Folk could appreciate this book on a number of different levels:1. A very well written love story that will keep you gripped to the end and wring your heart.2. A book that can be used as part of a marriage preparation course once the basics have been covered.2. A book for those asking questions about the nature of God's love for his people.3. A book for those who have been badly hurt by others and feel dirty or unworthy - a path towards understanding and God's healing.4. It also looks at human judgements, hypocrisy, forgiveness....I have now bought many others of Francine's books and find that they all have the same truth, power and page-turning grip, each one looking at different aspects of God's word and with massive messages for us all.

Redeeming Read.
I read somewhere that this book has been totted as being as good as Paullina Simons' The Bronze Horseman, it isn't, but it is a very worthy read even for someone like me that doesn't like to have 'God' rammed down their throats every minute.....Skilled characterization, fantastic plot development, good use of dramatic cadence, all in all a novel written by a writer who actually thought and cared about all these things. It took some time to read, mainly because this is the paperback version and I'm just no longer used to lagging a book around with me and so it was read in fits and starts but in the end I just put my head down and refused to stop until it was over. And I'll glad I made the effort.

A love story that made ME feel loved.
I was initially dubious about reading this. A devout Christian friend had recommended it and I was decidedly wary. However, I read the first chapter on-line and quite liked it. The writing was "stronger" than I had anticipated. Indeed, I simply couldn't get it off my mind. I ordered it a couple of days later, and when it arrived I just couldn't put it down! Now I'm a slow reader. A book with 400+ pages would normally take me a good month or more to read....and I was amazed that I zoomed through this in about 5 days, devouring chapter after chapter, night after night. I was really sad when I got to the last page! After that, I was totally hooked and couldn't wait to read more of Francine Rivers. I haven't been disappointed in any of them so far, though for me, this is the best and I cannot recommend "Redeeming Love" too highly.

Tender and Moving. One of the best.
I found this book on Amazon while browsing the Listmania. After reading such complimentary reviews, I decided to take a chance on it. I was not disappointed. The story is set in the 1850s during the Californian Gold Rush. Michael Hosea is a farmer who falls in love with a prostitute called Angel. Michael lives a simple life and is a God-fearing man. When he meets Angel, her life has just fallen to new depths. The book is a retelling of the prophet Hosea from the Bible. However, even if you are not religious don't let this put you off. If you like romance, you will love it. It is exquisitely written and the story beautiful. It is not only a story of redeeming love, but unconditional love too.I don't normally read books a second time. They have to be exceptional for me to consider it. But this one is a keeper, and once finished, will leave you with a warm glow inside you.Do not hesitate. It is a simple tale, but one of the best.

This book continues to change my life!
I just finished reading this book for the second time in my life and I have gained so much wisdom and knowledge about how The Father loves us! How we are called to live a life full of love for Him and for one another. My heart broke and healed whilst reading and experiencing the highs and the lows of the main character 'Angel', if you have ever wondered what it would be like to truly love and be loved despite your past this a great book!I cannot begin to tell how redeeming this book is! I read it and feel even more in love with husband, seeing our story within the pages, understanding that amidst adversity we managed to rise again, we found love through an undeniable hunger and thirst for Jesus, we love more freely because of the love He has showered over us individually and together!I hope to one day finish my books and inspire and challenge the hearts of many to find love and to love in return!Never stop loving! Love is the most powerful gift we could ever receive!

Amazing
I just keep buying this book as a present. It's one of my favourite books of all time, and I'm quite a wide reader. Francine Rivers brings a lovely Christian perspective to a standard romance, and you can really sense God speaking through her words. She considers this book to be her 'testement of faith' and I have passed it to many friends all over the world in my passion for sharing that with the world. THank you for writing this book; it has something to offer everyone.

The ultimate story of conquering love
No other book I have read quite touched me as this one. Through Michael, a devout believer and follower of Jesus and Sarah, an orphaned child sold into a life of pain and prostitution, the reader is shown the true love of God toward even the most undeserving as their two lives are brought together and wrenched apart. It's a book of tender andp determined love illustrated powerfully and beautifully. A story of real hope for the most hopeless. A story of God's power to transform lives and broken hearts. A beautiful, sensitive love story. You won,t be able to put it down.

WHAT a beautiful book!
By far the most challenging book I have ever read! An absolute page turner that really made me think about my actions, thoughts and perception of myself and of love.`Redeeming Love' is a tale of patience, tolerance, love, mercy and grace. It will challenge you and possibly make you cry but more thought provokingly open your eyes to just a smidgen of God's love for you.If you think you're difficult, that you are not worthy of being loved, or if you love/are trying to love someone who is deemed `difficult to love', you must read this book.I have only just finished it and I can't wait to read it again!

they're not perfect, they're all flawed and this book speaks to ...
I have to say that I'm not a Christian but that doesn't matter to potential readers, this book is just cant-put-it-down-til-4am-good! I was gripped. I've read a fair bit of Christian fiction as I'm not a fan of graphic modern day chick lit but these characters got to me...they're not perfect, they're all flawed and this book speaks to you..it made me ask questions of myself that weren't altogether comfortable and has set me on a journey.Give it a try, I have to say that this would make an *awesome* film...

Wonderful book.
This has to be one of my favourite books of all time. A wonderful story that was very well written. I keep buying the book again and again as I've given it to friends to borrow and then they want to pass it on so I just replace my copy! Well worth the read.
