It's a bucket hat so it's a bit large but I tend to like bigger hats. That being said, it came with some foam inserts that you could put behind the inner lining to make the hat fit better if necessary. The hat is really cute and good quality. It's not itchy and will definitely do its job of blocking out the sun.
