Arrowhead Mills Organic Yellow Popcorn, 28 oz Bag

Good tasting popcorn.

Pops large, completely with very little trash husks. Excellent in oil-free silicon popper.

I prefer organic popcorn, & I have tried several varieties from several companies. This yellow kernel popcorn is the best overall for my air popper. It has good flavor. It pops big & fluffy, & almost all the kernels do pop. Also it comes packaged in a thick, resealable bag. It is so much better than the purple corn that I was trying to use before. I am really impressed. This product is worth every penny. I will be reordering from Arrowhead again.

Of course we grew up eating popcorn at the movies with all that horrible fake butter all over it. Then microwave popcorn. When you finally decide to look at what you are eating, it's a shock. So we do not eat popcorn any more. But lately I've been trying this popcorn that you cook on the stovetop. It's really not so difficult or time consuming. I take a paper towel and barely wipe the bottom of a saucepan with a smear of olive oil, add the popcorn and turn the heat to 5, and move the pan back and forth on the burner to keep the kernels moving so they won't burn. when the popcorn starts to pop, I turn the heat down to 3 and keep going until it stops popping It's easy.We eat it plain with a little salt. A small bowl with some iced ginger tea and it feels like a treat every once in awhile. Of course, no reason you couldn't eat it every night if you wanted. No butter, no sugar. It's a good snack.

I like that it is organic and it pops and tastes fine.

If you are looking for popcorn that you can make in the microwave in the OXO good grips popcorn maker this is a good choice. It works well in the microwave although not all the kernels pop. Out of 1/3 cup kernels about 40 don't seem to pop. But it is a relatively small amount considering how many kernels are in 1/3 cup! Even bags of microwave popcorn don't ensure that all the popcorn kernels will pop. I buy this popcorn for the flavor. It is delicious with melted butter and no added salt. I'm having fun making delicious homemade organic popcorn and it only takes 3 1/2 minutes to make! Lots of fun on movie nights! :)~The Rebecca Review

Several kernels don't pop ... moisture content not quite right? And the popcorn seems to consistently have a burnt smell/taste. Perhaps it was a bad batch? But I am going back to the organic yellow popcorn kernels from Whole Foods.

This is a great tasting popcorn and one of the lower oxalate ones if that's an issue for you.
