Great book about french-indian war
Osprey books are always fine and interesting. If you are interested in the times of James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking novels, Wolfe's army is a must and can recommendably be read togehter with Ospreys Montcalm's army. Great illustrations.

Good overview of the French and Indian War
This book is little more than an overview of the French and Indian War, and not a discussion of the British Army during this period. The plates are well done, and a number of illustrations are included, among them some of the few contemporary depictions of British soldiers of this period.
