Best Calcium I’ve tried!
If your not absorbing the vitamins or minerals you are taking, you will not receive the benefits. Kal Calcium + is not only high quality but Liquid inside a gelcap that is easily absorbed. I have osteoporosis and have tried what was referred to me as the best. This is the best!

DECEPTIVE BUYER BEWARE 1000 mg
Pricey and very large. especially since you have to take 3 of theses very pills daily to get 1000mg!!!Guess I should have read label. This company used to make 1000mg in tablet form (ot gel with the extra junk in it)You only had to take one tablet daily as each tablet was 1000mg.Pulled a fast one like the sugar companies that used to be 5 LBS and went down to 4lbs. Some pasta too.As a consumer this more than annoys me!

Kal Calcium + 200 softgels
We have been taking Kal Calcium SOFTGELS for many years. Why, each softgel capsule is 1000 mg. and as we have aged our doctor has recommended we take 3,000 mg.Not easy to do, but Kal Calcium Softgels makes it easier to swallow. Well worth the effort. At age 80 and 79 1/2 we have a bone density of that of a 55 year old.As an added bonus, taking the softgels before bedtime asures us of a good night sleep.

I like that it's made in the USA
I feel that the quality is better when vitamins are made in the USA and are more properly regulated. As for the pills themselves, they are easy to swallow -- probably easier for an older person.

Not recommended combined
"While it might make sense to take magnesium and calcium together, they can actually interfere with one another's absorption in the body.Zinc is another mineral that can interfere with calcium and magnesium absorption. Most calcium, magnesium and zinc tablets contain all three in low enough amounts that they will not significantly impede one another's integration into the body — but you shouldn't take them just because."
