Whisper Sleep Quiet Platform Bed (Twin, Silver Gray)

I spent a good two days scouring Amazon for a bed that looked well made, would last more than a couple of years, and (above all) fit into my budget for household necessities. This bed satisfies all of my requirements: it is incredibly sturdy and the gray bed skirt looks elegant and goes nicely with our decor. I can't say anything about the assembly process, as I was out of town when the bed was assembled, but bf commented that a couple of bed clips were missing (most likely due to rough handling by postal workers). I emailed the seller and was promptly sent a package containing THREE bed clips (one more than the two that were missing) as well a $5 gift card for my troubles! This is an amazing seller, one who really cares about their customers and will go above and beyond to ensure that their buyers are completely satisfied. One thing to note: the platforms that sustain the bed in the middle are not attached firmly to the frame and do shift a little if you knock them over with a mop/broom/vacuum while cleaning, but this is such a minor issue that can be remedied by looking under the bed beforehand. I 100% recommend this bed frame to everyone looking for a quality bed frame made with American components, and am incredibly happy that I decided on this purchase!EDIT: This bed is now being held up by tape. Wooden supports under the mattress are faulty and end up on the floor if bed is pushed too far to one side. Would save your money and invest in a solid piece of furniture instead.

1. It's a heavy a$$ box.2. You build your box frame. The instructions are really clear, unlike Ikea ones.3. Make sure that you and your husband are aware that you are buying this, as it's a heavy a$$ box. AND you build it.4. It says whisper quiet.... but not really.. it creaks when I get in or out...5. It has been a while since we purchased this frame, and we're not ones for jumping up and down on expensive things, it has one of the internal components popped out... it is now dangling out of the bed and onto my hardwood floors!!6. I love how tall it makes my bed!!7. Ive had this for since 2018... and it BROKE last night... not a little break... IT BROKE.

My roommate and I bought these and to replace the old box springs and metal frames in our apartment. We are so pumped about these bed frames!! No more stubbed toes on the metal wheels under the bed!! Also these bed frames are super portable which makes them awesome for young people who move a lot. I currently live on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevator so thank god I didn't have to move two fully-assembled box springs up those stairs. These come in a sleek box and my roommate and I put them together in no time. It was like playing with Lincoln Logs! We've both tested them out for a few weeks now and they're holding up great. No more squeaking like the old metal one! :D Not to mention they look way cleaner!! It's totally worth it to get the model with the legs so you can store things underneath. Definitely worth every penny.

At first the bed was great, we removed our brand new box springs to replace it with this. After just a few months, the bed began to squeak far worse than the original frame we had. After contacting the manufacture, they sent us new parts claiming the original parts had been upgraded in the short time we had the bed. My husband spent too much time installing the new parts, something I could not have done on my own had I not had him to do it. The bed still is noisy, if not even more now. If I roll over, I wake up from the noise. We contacted them again. This time, they want us to pay to send the bed back and they will send a new one. Not only do I not have the box to ship this back in, I refuse to lay my new mattress on the floor while I wait for them to send me a new frame that probably will still make noise. And why should I have to pay to ship back the product that does not work. I regret buying this bed, as I now need to buy new box springs and a frame because this one is as good as firewood.

For our needs and the price, you get what you pay for. It looks great and serves does a good job of replacing a box spring; however, the wood is not very durable/strong and the staples don't stay in the wood. Put screws in where possible to make it a stronger bed frame.

Well, it’s been less than a year and there are three cracked wooden supports. I use this for my Airbnb, so lots of different people have slept on it.

BED WILL NOT LAST FOR OBESE PERSON. I loved this bed. However, I am a big person and bought it for myself, with extra slats to support my weight. I had called the company to make sure it would support my weight (weight up to 500#). I thought it would work. It only lasted 3-4 months before the side slats gave way breaking the bed and rendering it useless. For normal sized people or children, it’s probably fine. But for me it didn’t last. Side attachments to connect the cross bars to the wooden frame were not strong enough and appeared to be stapled in place, rather than screwed into the wood frame.

One of the main pieces was bowed and could not fit in place, other pieces had a lot of damages from cheap wood. Surprised that manufacture does not inspect the products more carefully. Could not assemble and needed to return. Luckily amazon customer service is amazing as always and return was smooth however the product is not the quality I expected from other reviews.
