Considerably thinner than the original. Doesn't fit too well on the actual Kraken. The foam is also less dense than the original. I suspect that this was made for a different purpose, and because it was close to the size of the Kraken, they also marketed it towards kraken headset users.

This item will replace your Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma V1 ear cushions! Razer no longer sells replacement ear cushions for version 1. Don't do what I did, buy from Razer then get ambushed by their inability to be reached, thus no return possible. This Amazon item fits version 1 headphones. I suggest a YouTube video to remove old and replace new so as not to tear the item during installation process. Overall, 5*

I bought these as a replacement for the earpads that essentially disintegrated on Razer Kraken headset. Was a little clueless as to the removal and installation but thankfully there are videos on YouTube which makes it simple to do. Thanks to these replacement earpads my headset is as good as new. I do recommend this for anyone looking to replace the earpads on their Kraken and don't want to shell out hundreds for a new headset.
