This is a great thick towel that stays fluffy with multiple washings. I received it as a gift when my son was born and love it so much that I bought this one to give as a gift to another mommy with a newborn boy. As well, the size is nice and broad - and so it has worked for my son through to age 1 (and still going). Most of his other newborn/baby towels no longer work for him because they are too small for him as he grows. Finally, the little shark head is so cute that I love the way he looks wrapped in the towel after his swim class. A great purchase and a terrific gift!

Haven't used it yet, but first impression is great! Seems to be great quality - super soft and super cute! I like that the fin has good form but isn't heavy, doesn't weigh the hood down. Happy with my purchase!

I have another similar towel for my one year old (the orange monster) and both are really high quality. Very soft and absorbent, and the designs are so cute. It's definitely large for a one year old so I'm sure we'll get many years of use out of it
