Brilliant quality, takes time to adjust to, 140WPM certified I guess
It is a brilliant quality keyboard, the touchpad is even bigger than the Surface Pro keyboard's touchpad. The only aspect and annoyance that you may find yourself facing are going to the compact size of the keyboard. It is a proper keyboard, with alt, control, windows keys, arrow keys. However, it is condensed into such a small form factor. I find my hands needed to adjust when using the keyboard, however over time you get used to it, and then going back to a larger keyboard feels weird. The quality overall is very premium. Alcantara is so nice, however more prone to getting sweat stains on it than the traditional black cover. All in all, very pleased with the product, however with big hands it may feel very uncomfortable. I was able to type around140WPM with it, the distance between the keys helps since you do not have to travel far from the home row. Then again I can type 160WPM with a bigger keyboard.

Works great
Use it with my surface go and it works just as expected. The material feels high quality and the keyboard lights up with the press of a button. I must say as it’s a small keyboard it can take time adjusting to typing on it but it has to be small to fit the device.

Great little keyboard
This magnetically clips to the bottom of the tablet, and gives you a working keyboard and mouse pad, no need to connect via Bluetooth, so it doesn't require a battery of its own, do more charging. The only downside is that unlike the surface go version, this doesn't have a lit keyboard, but that's only a minor thing.

Great quality Surface Go type cover keyboard
As usual arrived super fast. This type cover is the standard (non Alcantara) type cover but its still a great keyboard and trackpad for the surface go. Despite the smaller size of the Surface Go the keyboard is comfortable to work on for long periods and the trackpad is surprisingly large and has a glass surface so input is super smooth and comfortable. This keyboard does have a backlight which has three brightness settings.Would highly recommend

A Microsoft Product!
I ask myself why did I buy the cheap alternative first, Altec type keyboard for about £30 quid, Price, looked the same, yet a year later it the cheap alternative stopped. so, I purchase the Microsoft, this product is branded, soft damper keys, all the Microsoft option keys work seamlessly with the Go3 surface as it should do, it is a Microsoft product! keyboard has bigger palm rest area either side of the mouse pad, to make typing correct, as you can rest your hand comfortably and type with comfort, I can touch type so this is a great advantage to me, Colour is a light blue very light grey, the fabric has a felt feel, warm comfortable, I understand there are others without this felt cover more a stretched rubbery flat surface, I have tried both and prefer this fabric, Also I have had black, in contrast I prefer this light blue or very light grey felt.

Great branded keyboard
I bought a cheaper bluetooth keyboard initially. It was cheap, plasticky and flimsy. And would not link to my Go 2. This keyboard charges from the tablet and linked immediately. The keys are sturdy with good feedback. At full price, it would be a lot to pay so glad I found this at a good discount

It's Italian, and it is impossible to tell anyone
I'm writing this review using the keyboard, so it isn't a total disaster. I bought a 'very good used' version from Amazon Warehouse. I am confident that it is a genuine Microsoft product. The item itself, including the keys and the touch pad, looks brand new. The box just had a couple of marks on it, which is no big deal. The case, in terms of look and feel, and functionality, is really very good.My gripe is that it is an Italian keyboard layout. Nothing on the box says this. The box does say "sourced from Italy", but I think that's meant to be a reference to the alcantara, not the keys!Having used it for a day I realised it wasn't quite right. The only way I worked out it was Italian was to find a website that had photographs of every keyboard region of the world and work my way through until I found a match. Once I'd done that, I loaded the Italian keyboard option into Windows 10, and now it works like a dream. Windows has a little icon next to the time and date so you can click to switch between various keyboards. So if have the Surface on a docking station with a UK keyboard, I just quickly switch over. I'm no Mavis Beacon and can't type without looking at the keyboard, so it doesn't bother me.Trying to get some help to work out the problem was impossible. Microsoft's website and help was useless, and I could find no way on the Amazon site to contact anyone. I was close to just returning it.Overall, I paid £70 for the item, which is £50 less than a new one (or £55 if purchased direct from Microsoft). If at the point of sale it had said "Italian keyboard layout", I probably still would have bought it to save the £50. I'm just a bit annoyed it wasn't described properly, and it wasn't possible to do anything via the Amazon website, other than opt to return it.
