Nicely machined and great dust cover
Works great and the plastic cover that slips over the device while grinding does a great job of containing the tungsten dust and keeping it out of my lungs. I turn it upside down after grinding and tap it to collect the dust in the cover where it can be safely wiped out with a damp tissue or paper towel.

Works Great!
I've searched high-n-low for a quality, inexpensive tungsten grinder and I feel this unit is that! It's easy to set-up, works great, and seems very accurate. It's also very easy to use.The only complaints I have about it is that the 'cut-off' feature is almost useless and the quality of the wheels is poor. Of course, all you've got to do is not use the cage to do the cutting (if you're like me and use 'stubby' TIG torch set-up) and buy some better quality wheels.Overall, I'd recommend this product.

Awesome.
This is the full meal deal of portable tungsten sharpeners. It accommodates 6 sizes of Tungsten and has 4 tip angles. It’s a well made looking tool that comes with four disks and two disk holders. The dust guard fits perfectly. And a bonus storage bag. Well done!

Sharpens tungsten’s fast
Easy to use, sharpens tungsten’s fast, gets angles nicely. Only downside is disc’s don’t last.

Holes not marked, no O rings, no mandrel, and no grinding wheel. EDIT- 3mirrors seller made it right
Mine came with the tool completely unmarked, no angles, no sizes, nothing. Also, there were no O rings as well as no mandrel nor grinding wheel.I purchased a mandrel and grinding wheel, measured and scratched the angle on the side, and use it without the cover since none of the thousands of O rings I have don't seem to be the right size.EDIT- After reading my review, repairyourcar (the 3 mirrors seller) made it right by sending me a new one at no charge. This one came with everything as advertised. I have been using it a bunch and it seems to work well. I changed my overall rating to 5 stars.

It's decent, doesn't fix dust
This is definitely cheaper than alternatives assuming you have or can find a tool with the special threading under the collet (good luck confirming this, most tools don't list this in their specs or manuals; I believe there's an older B&D RTX tool, which is junk, a Milwaukee 12V, which is a lighter-duty brushed tool with short battery life, and some models of Dremels).I have no way of confirming the angles are accurate. What I can say is that my tungsten has play in every hole so I can definitely get a tighter or wider angle depending how I hold it (down angle or up angle within the hole's slack space). I'm not going to nit-pick it because simply having consistent angles that are "close" to the angle is an improvement in my welding routine and I'm happy with it, but if you are a stickler for an exact angle, you'll be annoyed. Here's my biggest like and biggest critique: I love that it has the shroud to contain the dust. It does collect a little pile of dust after grinding a few electrodes. That said, it's not perfect. BEWARE. If you are working in daylight or have a good spotlight nearby, you can very, very clearly see swirls of smoke/dust shooting out from 3 places: #1, in the gaps around the electrode since as I mentioned above it's not a snug/perfect fit, #2, to the hole to the left, #3 hole to the right. The reason is, the opening on the "glass" is too large and will leave some of the holes on either side slightly open. The whirring blade ejects dust out these gaps, probably right toward your complacent unmasked face if you're holding this the way I do. Solution: once the glass is aligned, stick a piece of electrical tape over the glass hole and then puncture it with your tungsten, it will create a tight seal without interfering with rotating the glass.Other areas for improvement would be additional top holes for blunting the tip (if that's your thing), a side hole to insert your electrode parallel with the blade to clean up any shaft contamination (otherwise you have a big hassle to take off the glass, vacuum it or whatever, find somewhere to hold the tool away from your face, reassemble, etc.), and tungsten-sized grooves for the cutoff. The current groove is too big and loosely curved, encouraging the tungsten to swoop out and jam between the blade and housing. Hold the tungsten very firmly. Of course, everything I just mentioned would create more holes and bring out dust... Maybe the manufacturer can come up with some rubber plug system that's better than my electrical tape idea.Overall I like it, makes a quick sharpening a breeze. Don't get complacent, there's still dust shooting out, and you're going to take it apart a lot if you ever have to clean off the sides or blunt the tips of your tungsten.

Love it!
I’m an amateur/hobbiest TIG welder, only a couple of years experience. I’ve used a fine grain stone on a bench grinder to grind my tungsten’s since I started. I’ve found that keeping as many variables consistent as possible helps me learn and improve, and this tool helps a lot with that. Not to mention, I like that this tool doesn’t put a bunch of dust in the air like the grinding wheel tends to do. I’d say time to sharpen is comparable, maybe a little slower than the bench grinder, but the consistency and lack of dust makes it super worthwhile. I have it installed on a corded dremel that I just leave plugged in near my welding table. Overall, really happy with this purchase, totally recommend!

Perfect.
Works great. I use it with my cordless Dremel. Gets a very clean finish. The discs last a pretty good time as well (Although I am not a frequent welder). Make sure you do not breath in the tungsten fumes when using. Also, get you a spare battery that is always charged so you don’t go lacking without it.

Produces a quality grind on tungsten
I was somewhat skeptical about how this item would work but it has been working excellent. The diamond grinding wheels have been holding up a good while and double sided so flip the wheel around when one side is worn out. Recommend to anyone that is looking for a budget grinder that produces consistent results when needing to regrind frequently. Put the dremel in the vice and it’s set up for when you need it. One star off since the guide holes are a little on the looser side but you can adjust to the angle you want by hand

Magnifico
