Simplicity, High Quality, Joyo Dependability
First, its construction….rock solid and sleek with a professional finish and polished chrome control knobs. On the top and bottom you have green LED lights that can be set to off, always on, or sync with tap tempo (very cool look). Second…three modes to select from: just looper mode, just drum mode, or both together. I like this because sometimes I just want a drum background to practice or I can make loops without drums or both. Third…ease of operation…press once and start recording a loop (red)….press again to stop recording (green & the loop plays back) …once it starts looping double press to stop….or single press to overdub (red)…If you overdub something you don’t like then press and hold and it erases the last overdub ….simple…There is unlimited overdubs and up to 40 minutes recording time. Fourth..the built in drum machine has 7 genres and you use the tap tempo button to determine BPM…you can also use the tap tempo like a metronome (since it flashes to the beat) with the drum volume off…There is also a control knob called Bar…This gives many alterations to the drum pattern although not sure the name fits…buts its fun to experiment with…This pedal has separate control knobs for the drum volume and the looper volume which is critical for recording in drum/looper mode. One improvement would be to be able to turn off the tap/tempo light when only in looper mode, but not a big issue. I recommend this pedal for 2 main reasons…1. Its simple to use….there are all kinds of loopers out there…the ones in this price range look pretty complicated and have a lot more bells and whistles. When I see that in a electronic device at this price point that tells me there is a lot that can malfunction in the future. 2. Its Joyo….I own 7 Joyo pedals going back 5 plus years….they are extremely well built and dependable….when you put these 2 factors together…this is a solid purchase.

A useful practice and performance tool that's a ton of fun!
I'll start by saying that I don't have a lot of looper experience. I have tried a couple, found them frustrating, and not very intuitive. Throw in a preset drum machine, and color me skeptical.BOY WAS I WRONG!The looper is very intuitive, and it's ease of use changed my view of loopers quickly. Click to record double click to stop, click to overdub, hold to erase-simple. Plenty of record time for practice or live use, and I would see this as ideal for solo gigs. Now - the drum loops. Wait... These actually sound pretty damn GOOD! Multiple genres, and bar settings, from straight forward to dizzying! Count in, fills, outros, it's all there! Rock and pop standards, blues with some country useful stuff, double bass drum laden metal settings, funk grooves that are actually groovy, jazz for you jazzers, and some really cool Latin beats are included, and can be switched up in a multitude of ways with the bars. This is A VERY useful practice tool for players of all levels, and as I stated before, it will become a big part of my solo gigs. You know what? This thing is a ton of FUN!

Does what it says, I like it.
The media could not be loaded. Does what it says. It is limited in editing loops, so i use it for ideas when writing, improvising, and practicing groove. The drums sound fine, and the choices for beats are sufficient. Would I use this for a solo gig? Yes and no. If it was a small type gig with no PA, I’d use it to loop a rhythm and improvise over it.There a tap tempo which works ok, each drum style has several variations. It is kind of hard to see the font on pedal especially when tempo light is flashing in your eyes.I did have a small glitch when looping, where The guitar signal kept cutting off. It went away, but thats an issue if you want to use it live.I recommend it if you want to spend 100 bucks on a drum machine/looper. I added a video with 4 guitar parts through a small amp so You can hear the quality through an amp.Overall, I am happy with it as it inspires me to play and practice.

Can't use it
I was really happy to receive this. Because it's small I think it will be better than the large keyboard I used to use. However, I'm unable to use it.It seems like a good piece of equipment. But it didn't come with the power supply even though it was supposed to. So I was very disappointed about this. It's no good without a power supply.

Intuitive, and pretty with a few issues.
The Joyo OMB use is straightforward. The looper works wells and without any tonal or signal loss. The playback volume is almost precisely what was fed into it when recording. To add to that the volume knob allows for easy adjustment. Most importantly, other effect pedals can be places before the OMB looper and the effect is exactly what you would want. There are only a few problems with the Joyo OMB. Mostly due to the drum metronome. The drums selections are awesome, however, their is not simple drum set or basic metronome function. Also, problematic is the looper & drums function. One can record the drums a guitar riff together, however, on playback the drums are not synced to the riff that was just recorded. You must reset the switch every time you want to playback the drums and recorded loop. Finally, there is a blinking metronome light. (I'd much prefer a sound metronome, I think any musician would). I cannot turn off this LED damn light!!! You must unplug the pedal from its power source to turn the damn blinking LED off. eerrrrr.I'd recommend the pedal if it were under $50.

Funcional y resistente
