LeysoSimple Under Cabinet Stainless Steel Range Hood, Digital 4-Speed Control, 900 CFM, 2 LED Lights, Baffle Filters (36")

I've only been using the vent for a couple of days now, but here are my first impressions.1) The quietest setting is F1. You can barely hear it running, but if you have steam rising you can clearly see it being sucked up & out! The next setting F2, is a little louder, but not overly so. The noise is no worse than my old Kenmore exhaust vent and the CFM is much higher. Haven't run it on the 800 CFM setting yet.2) Installation could have been made easier with a paper template to use to drill the holes for the screws that hold the hood to the cabinet. Due to the weight, we used fender washers during the installation to distribute the weight a bit more rather than having all the weight on the screw heads.3) Care needs to be taken when peeling the plastic off the metal filters. The edges are very sharp. I have several cuts on my hands from the sharp edges.4) The LED lighting is bright.5) No provision for hardwiring as the hood is riveted together, disallowing access to the power cord wiring. Since it couldn't be hardwired, we had to make an electrical outlet, as the old unit was hardwired.Overall, I'm very pleased with the hood. I'll revise this, as needed, after using it longer.

I needed an exhaust hood that could exhaust heat and grease laded steam out of my kitchen. After calculating the amount of CFM's I needed to exhaust my 36" dual fuel range, I needed a minimum of 450 CFM's. The exhaust hood I was looking at was only 600 CFM's, 10" in total height and cost more than this one. So I was risking going with an unknown brand and less expensive option. I am very pleased with this product, not only does it exhaust well, it's also fairly quite for pulling that much air and I love the slim lined design. I design commercial kitchens, so I research the products I purchase for my home heavily. My husband installed the exhaust hood and found it very easy to install (best if you have a second pair of hands). One thing I would note is to check with your local building inspector, in my city any residential exhaust fan over 400 CFM's or larger than a 6" duct, requires make-up air. This make up air has to be a separate unit that turns on when the fan is turned on and not an open window.

I did a lot of research before choosing this range hood. This range hood met all of my qualifications; e.g., low noise level, size, attractive design and excellent quality. It has several great features such as delayed shut-off option, powerful lights, and dish washer safe baffles. The only down side is the adhesive used to protect the baffles in shipment; it is very difficult to remove. However, that would not stop me from buying the same hood again.

Omg!!!I still can’t believe it how good this hood work, yes professional!!!Suction power amazing easy to install. And look great even without my wood work modification.

I really like this range hood, only complaint is that the clock runs slow. I've had to reset it a couple of times since it was installed.

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this range hood and I absolutely like it a lot. Not only does it look really nice , it works very well. I would purchase this item again.
