Cottage Delight Our Classic Lemon Curd

This is very good quality and very tasty with no nasty ingredients. On the pricey side but overall worth it because some curds can be just nasty so really very pleased. Tangy and orangey and buttery just as it should be.

If you love lemon curd, you have to try this orange curd. Smooth, creamy and citrusy, divine on toast and sublime swirled through whipped cream and dolloped onto meringue, chocolate pudding or gooey brownies. I will never go to the bother of making it again, it’s the best I’ve ever tasted…orange heaven!

The product itself was delicious and l really enjoyed it. The butteryness was obvious, and orange flavour fairly mild although the tang was there. However the jar, whilst being very well presented, was a nuisance towards the end. Being a square jar, some of the curd was lodged in the corners and the jar was too deep. A shorter, wider and circular jar would have been better….l know this from many years of having lemon curd and getting ever last drop out.

Lovely product could just do with being a bit more tangy & orangey but very nice.

I can't really rate this highly, it's not about the content as such, but there is a really odd and bitter after-taste. I love lemon curd, but this one really doesn't sit well with me, I don't know what it is exactly, but it's just .... odd. You have to use a lot to taste it on toast, which is silly since it's so thick that on a couple of slices it's half a jar gone. I won't be buying it again, I'm not really keen and I think I actually prefer the store bought stuff ( Which is shocking I know ) but I tried, it's just not for me. Honesty is the best policy, and I really didn't like writing this. There is never a returns on food items, so I'll spare that whole thing and just state I can't buy this again, It's really not for me. Best of luck I'm actually really really upset lol Jeez I really expected It to blow my mind :( High expectations I guess.

This lemon curd is gorgeous, thick, very lemony & creamy. I can eat this in anything 😁 Certainly recommend this product.

wonderfully packaged,. If you like lemon curd, this is a refreshing change, I make ice cream with a machine, I add two tablespoons with the end product, the hint of orange is perfect.
