Prism Stowaway Delta Single-Line Kite

I got this kite for my kids, as their first kite, and we absolutely love it!It is worth noting how it folds back together (I took pictures to be sure, but got it back into its original folding pattern after a couple of tries).I love the way that they have it fold compactly in the carrying sleeve provided.I had always used diamond kites in the past, but I have to attest to the delta kite's performance across the board.It's EXTREMELY easy to launch (launching in only slight wind - no need to run with it or wait for gusts).It's very easy to control with slight changes in string orientation.This kite is also STRONG. Even in with very strong gusts, you know that this material is not going to rip or tear, and will hold together as well as any tent would in rough conditions.Once I got the kite up in the air, I was even able to hand the spool to my youngest, and he was able to enjoy it as well.I highly recommend getting this. You will NOT be disappointed.

Beautiful. The first one had a tear in it, and I received a replacement before I sent the old one back, so great customer service! My 4 year old has special needs and absolutely loved helping to fly it. The colors are vibrant, so it was easy for him to see the contrast in the sky. He's in speech therapy and has a hard time remembering and explaining experiences, but he's actually trying to tell people about it and is remembering the details of the kite. He's usually crazy and unpredictable, but he was calm and cooperative while staring at it in the big blue sky. Even my husband was able to have some REAL bonding time with him. It's easy to use, and I'm looking forward to many more chances to experience a favorite pastime that my son is actually into. I would not recommend this one for a 2 year old. I'd you have two little ones, get the younger a parachute toy or one if those balsa wood gliders to hold their attention while you work with the older one.

First "quality" kite I have ever purchased. Wind at 12 mph. Totally erratic. Left, right, crash. Up, loop, crash. It's up again, a quick left, then a right, then a 50 foot nose dive straight into the ground. Completely unstable. This is comedy. Where's the cameras?Update: Third day with this kite. Wind steady at 20 mph. Kite all over the place again, but at least staying aloft - barely. I pulled it down and attached tails to the wings, (now three tails total). Kite went straight up, much more stable with some bobs and weaves. Better.This kite is advertised as stable in low wind. No way. It needs higher wind to stay aloft. And it should be able to fly without modification or any tails.Additional tails used were heavy duty flagging tape from Lowes.

This kite is amazing! Our 2 year old learned about kites at daycare and made a paper one in class that didn't fly. I debated between this and a less expensive kite, but decided to go with this one.The quality and durability is what you pay for and I believe the extra cost was well worth it. It's taken a few crash landings that would have ruined a cheaper kite, but due to it's solid build, came out unscathed.Packaging of the kite is very functional, and it takes up little space. After assembling for the first time, you can have it ready for flight in a matter of minutes. Disassembling is even easier.If I have one knock on this product it would be the plastic circular spool the string is on. After a couple flights it started to warp which made bringing the kite down from flight a bit cumbersome. I ran across a 500 foot kite line at a hobby store and now use it instead of the line that came with the kite. You can purchase the 500 foot line on Amazon.If you are looking for an easy, durable, high quality kite, you can't go wrong with this one.

Don't buy this kite, it is a waste of money. It looks promising, it looks like a lot of fun, but it flies like garbage. You can find a way better kites at into the wind com. I would never buy another kite elsewhere ever again. I of course fly my Kites on a different level than most people do. The last time I flew my kite it was over 4000 feet and I have a strong durable reel with 200 lbs. line.This kite is very unstable and sways back and forth and Dives way too easy. It is not fun at all and I ended up throwing it in the trash. I did not even want to give it to somebody because it's a frustrating waste of time and I am not new to flying kites. If you enjoy flying single line Delta kites, my friendliest advice to you is try another kite

Outstanding single line kite. Bought this for my wife to get her interested in kiting and the very first trip to the beach she was hooked. Allowed her to get the feel of a kite and explore the wind a bit before jumping into a Prism Nexus dual line sport kite. However, on those days she doesn't feel like tackling her dual line kites this is her go-to fun kite. Where we live in Corpus Christi we get good winds most all the time and it does take about 6-8mph wind to get it up, but she's flown it in steady 15mph with occasional gusts to 20mph with no problem. I was concerned about the polyester line, but so far no breaks. It also comes with a really neat multi part ribbon tail which I believe it needs. Very similar construction to Prisms smaller dual line and the as always super Prism build quality.

This is the second kite I’ve purchase from the Prism Manufacturer. I’m extremely pleased with the kite design, and especially the following;1. Easily folds up for storage and transport.2. Very durable materials used in the manufacturing process which took into consideration “crashing,” I’ve had over 65 crashes due to areas on mountain cliffs, and this kite survives every one!!3. The color designs can be seen from a distance of 1 mile or more.4. These kites are designed with the amateur kite flyer in mind!I intend to continue purchasing other kite products from this manufacturer!

Solo tuve un problema al armarlo, en la parte de atrás hay que ajustar muy bien la barra trasversal con la cinta y eso es un poco complicado, pero una vez hecho está listo para usarse una y otra vez.Se arma y se de vuevle a guardar en cuestión de minutos,Vuela sin esfuerzo.

Great kite, bought it for my boyfriend to take to Oregon (he was blown away by it), we saw the same kite in the shops down there for the same price I paid... Super deal without having to go to the shops, fight the crowds or waste my time going store to store searching for it. Would definitely purchase it again from this site.

easy to fly and very good solid construction, had a could good seasons with it so far, some in really strong winds with no issues. a line upgrade is recommended as the included isn't the greatest.very portable as well.

Pues no vuela.. se eleva facilmente pero de pronto gira y se va de picadano se si sea el peso o la hechura pero es un hecho q no se puede mantener en el aire
