GUNK MPDW30 Multi-Purpose Degreasing Wipes 30-Count 8 x 12 inch 2-Sided Smooth or Scrubby Texture

Looking under my hood recently, I was disappointed with the build-up of dirt and oily residue on all visible surfaces. I didn't want to do an official "engine clean" with degreaser spray, pressure wash, lubricating film and so on. For one thing, I'd be afraid of damage to the ubiquitous electronic components under there.As an adequate "poor man's" version of an "engine clean", I used these Gunk wipes. They were perfect for the job of restoring the superficial appearance of a clean engine and compartment.

Used them to clean lawn mower parts before applying some Red n Tacky to them. The course side really helped pull that grim off the wheel bolts and other pieces; solvent on the wipes cut right through the dirt and old grease. Definitely recommend for a good cleaning application before putting on a new layer of protective grease.

Best Wipe I have Used! I really liked how this wipe had 2 sides, a scrubby and a smooth side as well as how strong the wipe was! It didn't tear or leave any lint behind when I was cleaning things up in the garage. Also, the size of this wipe is bigger than other wipes I have used in the past so I only needed one per job, instead of multiple like normal. I ended up using them for just about any tough cleaning job around the house, even cleaned crayon from the kids of a white table!

I've used another brand of these wipes off and on for awhile now, and I decided to try these instead of buying what I had been using and I have to say that these are way better than what I had been using. I'll be buying more of these when I need to buy some more, that's for sure.

Took weeks to turn up, seal was broken on arrival, wipes almost dry in the tub as a result!
