Humorous look at the buzzwords overused in the workplace!
I was delighted to see this book, co-authored by former Daily Show correspondent Bob Wiltfong, along with Tim Ito. So many terms that can be used for buzzword bingo, it's great to learn about their origins (as well as the BS meanings of them). Love the book so much that I purchased it for a colleague, who had the following to say."Thanks very much for the book. I’ve been reading it and I can already tell you that it’s a game-changer which is already leading me to red-flag my own use of BS and avoid phoning it in while making more bullish on how to get buy in for my next disruptive innovation." That says it all.Highly recommended for all who appreciate the ridiculousness of the corporate bull speak.

Snarky humor and fun origins of BS phrases like 'Bait and Switch"
Many professions have their specialized in-crowd speak. As a physician, I'm totally guilty of doctor-speak.I found the snarky humor of the authors and the interpretation of the phrases most appealing. Equally delightful was the origin for these idiosyncratic words business people use, almost like their own private language.I discovered the background to familiar phrases, like "Bait and Switch" that have become memes beyond those professionals. Now it's hard for me to avoid jumping into conversations with my new expanded lexicon (think Big Bang Sheldon's annoying insertions). The BS Dictionary's authors, Bob Wiltfong and Tim Ito, from their inside perspectives, offer the naïve and knowledgeable readers insight and humor to demystify and dethrone the social currency passed around at parties when BSers' are puffing up.

Like an Urban Dictionary for Business
No B.S. - this book is clever and fun! It's a comprehensive collection of business terms that we've all heard and rolled our eyes at in offices everywhere. Not only do you get the definition of the terms, but also funny, laugh-out-loud "B.S" versions along with the terms' origins. Wonder what "blockchain" means? How "straw man" came about? Why some people casually drop "disruptive innovation" to make themselves seem cool? It's all in there or more. Get this book today or experience FOMO later!

Reads a bit like a hilarious dictionary version of "The Office"
This is funny and quirky and tongue in cheek and still a little serious -- sort of like the dictionary equivalent of "The Office." I laughed out loud, and felt vindicated and understood when I saw the entry for "synergy." This would be a fun gift for a new grad, promotion, or a retirement. Or just to have handy in case you need a laugh when the workplace BS is overwhelming.

Hilarious & Informative
Wiltfong and Ito have created a masterpiece. The BS Dictionary takes every day business language and turns it into not only entertainment but also education. I highly recommend adding this valuable resource to your personal and gift giving library.

GREAT GIFT FOR GRADUATES!
I purchased this book after seeing the author on social media and was intrigued by the concept. We purchased this with our family friend in mind who is off to college in the fall. This is a great book to give to any business major starting off on their journey or a seasoned co-worker who needs an easy read and some laughter. Highly recommend!

The latest page-turner in literature is...a dictionary?!
It sounds weird to say a dictionary is a great read but this thing is brilliant. I loved discovering the origin stories of all the words and phrases, and the “BS definitions” are absolutely hilarious. I highly recommend this book.
