The content is an objective lense of where our educational system evaluation. This book helped me a great deal to be more informed as I plan curriculum for new schools. I have a very good perspective now of the foundation of curriculum in public education and am better informed to create outcomes that are student centered.

This book has some interesting articles that shed some light on current issues in the field of education. However, the price is simply ridiculous. It's a relatively thin book with a soft binding; if it wasn't a required text for my Master's program, I would have gone with something much cheaper or simply looked up scholarly articles on the topics covered in this book.
