This product gets the job done. Super absorbent and long lasting.

The water absorbing PIGs work great. they are a perfect size for the area I needed to protect and they retain a surprising amount of water.

PIGs Absorbent 10 Gal Kit/ 6 Socks, 15 pads: This kit does what they say it will do ~ Absorbs water like crazy!The only downside is that the Absorbent Socks absorb SO much water! they take quite a while to dry out. Best to dry them out in the Sun ~ Outdoor Clothes Line. The drop Pads dry out much quicker. They say not to put them in your clothes dryer. I let them mostly dry at room temp, until just damp, then put them in the clothes dryer on LOW HEAT!, to finish off the drying. That seemed to work just fine, with no pilling or damage to the Pad. I would not put the Absorbent Socks in the dryer, because they are very different materials. All said and done, these are pretty amazing when it comes to absorbing water/moisture. Very effective! I could see these PIGs would be exceptional for boat owners/enthusiasts!

My garage is in rough shape and doesn't slope towards the door anymore like it should. We had a lot of water build up during the winter when we pull in with snow/rain on the car. These PIG products are soaking the water right up and protecting the other junk I have on my garage floor! Great purchase.

I have these pigs all over my house. They drink up all the water under the washer machine, bathroom sink, hot water heater, ice maker, dishwasher, kitchen sink, waterbed and fishtanks. They're very high quality and reusable. The long round pigs are great if you need to isolate a pool of water. I had to put together several to make a big circle where the basement ceiling leaks and they hold in a decent amount of water and sometimes on a hot day ill even catch the dogs laying in it. So they're kind of multi purpose.

The items in this kit.did very little to help with with water from an air conditioner condensate pipe leak. If you stand there and wring out the mats every frw minutes you can v lean up some water but if it is an ongoing oroblem and you need something that will last a day or so til a repairman can come out hou nred sometjing else. This company makes sucj products as I have found out. These are not a help for sn ongoing issue. Wish they would state that it is mainly for clean up not an ongoing situation. Their waterless sandbags hold much more water snd a frw of them sllowed me to sleep without fear of belongings being ruined. The items in tbis listing only help with cleanup.

Very handy to have around, works great to slow down the water when the power goes out and the sump will not turn on.
