WISH THEY WERE A LITTLE BRIGHTER

Its great effect for the price, very bright!The reasons for 3 stars though are:1. You can see the 16" breaks in between the leds under the casement. So it doesnt have the solid flowing light through the whole (im gonna call it. a rope i guess).2. Mine was defective near the end of the rope, one of those 16" leds breaks is defective and doesnt display all green spectrum from the rgb3. There is a very potent, latex odor that emits from these. It took a few weeks for it to go away (or we just got used to it). it spread throughout the house, maybe due to heat of the lights.This is still a cost effective product for the rgb fan, given there isnt alot of other option.

You can read about other stuff like the remote in other reviews but I'm going to tell you the most important things to keep in mind, everything else is nit picking.1: these are the best smooth color "tube" look you're going find for a reasonable price. (meaning not hundreds)2: getting these to stay wherever you want them is a nightmare. You will and should spend a lot of time rigging securely in your own way, so you don't have to do it over and over. Their brackets and adhesive suck.3: I've bought these twice now, the last set was exactly 6 months ago...look at how 90 degree bends mess up the light over time. This is not a function people....you do not get to change the color by sections, it's malfunctioning...they do not have longevity, so paying more for the right product first may be something you need to think about.

I loooove these lights!!! I live in a condo on the water. I used these lights on my balcony for some night light ambience. They are fantastic!!! I get so many compliments and you brighten them or dim them to your preference. So happy with my purchase 5 Stars all the way!!!

The only reason this is not a five star review is because when I cut the lights in the marked place to cut them I lost a few functions on the remote. it really does not make sense but I lost strobe function and flicker etc.very please with how they look though! clean bright colors.

I wanted a led light to back light a shelf. This was perfect! It is flexible, easy to use, bright, totally adjustable. So adjustable you can cut it to size. I bought one that was 10 feet longer than I needed, and added a second controller. You can cut where the light is marked, about every yard. Once cut, you cap the end and your original light works as always. Not you take your new controller and plug the leftover piece into it and you have another set. This this is fantastic with a ton of customized setting. I would definitely buy again.

Horrible product. understand that this just a normal LED strap Light wi th silicone over it to disperse the l ight Smoothly. other than that the only big difference i's these have a wire soldored . into the cut points so you can hit them with the pin that you insert to make the connection. so when you cut it all you should seh is si licone with a silver dots, the wires the pins connect with.some expierence. The first roll I got the ends were okay but the middle the silicone in the center was melded out and there was just a big hole where silicone and wires should be.12H was completely. Unusable, CGot a refund and bought a new roll... same-thing... complete garbage.So I complained so Amazon and they sent pre n third roll and I returned a second roll.So I get the third roll and to my horror it too was melted in the middle, I managed to salvage my job by taking out the silicone at the cut point's and soldering the pins directly onto the circuit board of the light strip.I realize I could have scart this bank and gotten another but after 3 junk rolls that were sent it did'n+ it didn't seem logical to keep tr ying,so while they or pretty When they work, but when they don't work they are complete garbage, Don't waste your time and money.

Better than expected ..I have alot of led rope lights which look good but did not get the steady or solid neon look..This has the neon look although I can see some seperation but compared to expensive neon tubing .I would but this again and again well worth the price..
