VTechCS6529-4 DECT 6.0 Phone Answering System with Caller ID/Call Waiting, 4 Cordless Handsets, Silver/Black

I've been using these V-Tech phones for a long time. Love them! The only thing I don't like about them is that they don't have blocker on them and the batteries don't hold for long if you leave them off the charger throughout the day! I can talk on the phone for an hour or two and then I notice the charge starts to go down on the phone about halfway never mind it's been sitting on the charger for two days straight. Other than these two matters, the phones are great and do last for at least 5-8 years if not longer. I highly recommend these phones to all because they're so good! The volume is great, and functionality of use is with ease! You can't beat the price for as many phones that's in the set! The color is really nice too because it will blend in with most colors/decor in homes! I've never had any problems since owning this set of phones other than one of the phones keys would get stuck after long use. Besides that, it's a wonderful everyday exceptional phone set!! I just hope V-Tech doesn't stop making this particular model/set! 10 Stars and more!!

Very nice phone set. I love the different colors. They work great in our small business. Each department has their own color phone. They are easy to set up.

Sorry to say, it isn't nearly as good as my old panasonic that finally wore out. It was easy enough to set up even though directions were on one large sheet with many folds, so it was hard to locate specific directions.The biggest disappointment is that the screen is SMALL and on dim side. Almost impossible to read most of the time. May be OK for younger people with better eyesight--definitely not for seniors. The voice quality is also little tinny.But, It wasn't too expensive and it was on sale after Thanksgiving. So far it works as a landline, but I tend to be old school and depend on a landline more than most. I will probably use it for awhile, then toss it.

Excellent buy for the money. So functional because I use one in my bedroom for emergencies and the other in my family room for everyday convenience. The caller name and phone number shows up on the phone.

Love these phones, especially being color coded. No guess work in knowing which phone goes where. The setup was a breeze and they function very well. Good quality. Thank you.

This phone replaces two VTECH 2431 2.4Ghz GIGAPHONES that I've had for over 21 years and really loved. One phone developed an issue with the keypad (buttons were becoming hard to press) but still worked. The other started developed an issue with static on the line so I thought it would be a good time to replace them...and this was the closest match. Unfortunately, the excellent 2431 is no longer available. I like the reliability, voice quality, range, and features of VTECH phones. However, thisphone is only OK and definitely no match for the 2431. There are a few features I don't like. First, as a few others have mentioned, this phone does not have the MESSAGE WAITING LED of the older 2431. This was a blinking green LED on the top of the phone to indicate that you had new voicemail. You could simply glance at the phone, even from across the room, to tell that a message was waiting. The LED was also duplicated on the base station. For this phone, the only way to tell if there is a new message is to lift the phone off of the cradle to light up the display and look for the VM envelope icon. Not very user friendly. The second thing that bothers me is that there is an annoying bright RED LED on the front of the phone to indicate that the phone is in it's cradle and charging. The phone sits on mydesk and this LED really bothers me. It's too bright. Would prefer if VTECH changed this LED back to a green MESSAGE WAITING LED. That would be a more useful feature. Perhaps move the CHARGE LED to the base instead. This is being picky, but I'm also not too crazy about the ring tones. I prefer the tones on the 2431. Also, the 2431 base was a full featured speakerphone that included a keypad and duplicated the buttons on the handset and included LEDs for MESSAGE WAITING, POWER, LINE IN USE, and HANDSET CHARGING. Even without the handset, you could make calls from the base station as well as use the base as an intercom. For this phone, the base simply has a "find handset" button and LINE IN USE LED, no speaker phone feature. The speaker phone feature is only available on the handset. Although it looks like the base speakerphone features are available in more expensive models.

This is the second set I buy for this model. I can certify the last 7+ years without any problems. Much better than other more expensive brands.
