ONLY Bird CD worth buying!!!
If you are looking for BIRDS and mostly nothing else...to replicate a wooded location in nature under natural conditions THIS IS THE ONE. I bought the other less expensive ones but they had too much extra stuff with rain and rocky brooks and loud noises. As soon as I listened to this I gave the others away. This is all I need.We built an offgrid cabin in the woods that is all solar. We’re under a canopy of trees so the sun exposure isn’t great. We wired all our lighting 12 volt so we can turn the inverter off at night to save power. We installed a great automotive stereo system inside and outside the cabin. Why do I explain this? Because I want to say WE ARE ENERGY CONSERVATIONISTS. And YET...I have this CD running all day morning to bedtime inside and out. Using 12 volt power! It’s worth it!There ARE a few other sounds. Right now water is gently lapping on a beach. But it’s short and very mellow. There is one cut...I forgot which one...that I put on REPLAY when we have company. It is strictly birds. And almost nobody new ever detects that the birds are on demand! I keep it VERY low. They comment “wow you have nice birds”. I reply “we love it here”. Outside they look up into the trees and say “wow...”After a few days when they comment again I explain our birds are actually on demand! But I believe in 2 YEARS only one person has asked if it’s a recording. Probably because it was a tad too loud!When we’re here alone I listen to the full disk ON REPEAT. I love the lapping water and other VERY SUBTLE sounds. But primarily this is BIRDS. And the one track is for sure all birds.We opened the cabin over a week ago. Every day I think “I need to write a review so other people know about this!” So tonight I did.There are NO loud crashing sounds. You could sleep with this. It’s AweSome!

wonderful recording
Thanks!Our cockatiel loves the CD as much as we do.I like to put it on while I am in the massage chair.She likes it for the stimulating avian "conversations".It is relaxing and captivating.A high-quality mix and robust selection.Be sure to get the "Spring Backyard Birds" CD as well.I highly recommend each long-playing symphony.

Back yard Birds CD
I had two parakeets. I left them on the enclosed porch last summer. A cat knocked over the cage and one got away.( I hope he got away and that the cat didn't kill him. Either way he is domed, unable to fend for himself in the wild )I hesitated to get a new mate for the remaining one as I did not know how she would react to a strange bird. I felt terrible. She was completely silent until I purchased this CD. I play it constantly and she now chirps happily in response. I also find it soothing. especially the water sounds. I at first got a recording that seemed orchestrated. This one sounds so natural, exactly like the birds in the back yard. Now i have the outdoors indoors . This is a real pleasure during long Chicago winters.

Your parrot will enjoy this
This was purchased to entertain a Caique parrot while alone. And it has done the job famously. Contains a mix that will encourage the bird to be creative in his repertoire and relaxing him at other parts.
