A Bold Tea
I bought this tea as another natural option to drinking camomile, or other decaf teas. I also was captivated by the health benefits. I think the instructions have a translation issue. I doubt you would steep the bag for 30min or more. I get a nice bold brew just leaving it in for 5min, comparable to brewing black teas. I think they mean don't leave the bag in for more than an hour, due to bitterness. It's flavor is definitely an acquired taste. It almost has a tobacco scent and taste. I was thinking it may taste like beer, but it's roasted barley. I'm happy I still made the purchase, it's made in japan and is of high quality, so I'm not complaining.

Perfect after dinner tea
I love this tea so much! It’s a perfect after dinner or evening tea as it helps with digestion. The taste is lovely. For me one bag makes 3 cups when I steep it in my kettle.Highly recommend

It taste like coffee…
I am not a coffee drinker, but have been a lifelong Tea consumer. I didn’t care for this at all. it tastes and smells like coffee to me. If you are sensitive to gluten, pregnant or anywhere near breast-feeding, don’t consume this. It hinders lactation, and is stated to be in advisable for pregnant women. I didn’t see that in the information on the product itself, but when I was referring it to my gluten, sensitive pregnant daughter-in-law, I found an article that stated this out right. Of course, she is not going to use it. However, it is supposed to be good for children, which is what I was looking for. Perhaps her two-year-old will like it one of these days. Both of his parents drink coffee, and because there is no caffeine and yet it tastes like coffee, it might be something he would enjoy. I understand it is very widely used in Japan for children.

Good tasting tea
Tea is not really my fave but I love the roasted taste of this . Good quality , just dip in your hot cup , non caffeinated and I love the roasted aroma but not that cheap ( however it’s worth it )

like it
I enjoyed the aroma of this tea right out the bag: earthy, smoky for lack of a better word. It has a bit of a sweet aftertaste. The teabag is so big, so I will keep adding hot water to my big mug up to 4 times.
