Update: I've added 1 more for a Total of 3 of the European Design filter housings and a pre-filter. I'm filtering the city water 50 microns at the pre-filter, 5 micron string filter, 1 micron grooved sediment filter, followed by a .5 micron coconut CTO filter.What can i say, it works, doesn't leak and filters water.I bought 2 of these for a 2 filter whole house system for sediment and CTO 1.5 years ago and am thinking i want another for heavy metal.

Despite using plenty of Teflon tape and pipe dope, both the inlet and outlet valve ports leak. It also leaks from the pressure relief port, which is just a metal screw into the plastic housing with a tiny o-ring. Relief valve is very easy to strip and is useless. I've installed other brands with no problems. I bought two sets of these, both leak.

Working great. Looks good. Wish there was a nylon filter that would help filter fine partials.
