50units 3 Layer Blue

I work in a hospital, so I have seen/used MANY masks, especially in this COVID pandemic. I ordered these masks to keep on hand at home for personal use. Overall, these masks are comparable, if not better than some I've been issued for hospital use. They arrived FAST via AMAZON (no waiting 3-6 weeks as per previous early COVID mask purchase).Packaged along side various other AMAZON items, these masks arrived in their own thin manufactured box. The masks themselves were bundled inside a plastic wrap bag that although NOT sealed, did at least have a resealable adhesive flap strip (would have preferred that they were SEALED inside bag, though). Upon examination, these masks indeed feature a bendable nosepiece that is fully encased INSIDE of the fabric. While not super thick/strong, the nosepiece is at least better than many I've previously worn. The portion fitting around the ears is stretchy, generous in proportion, and secure (no breaking away from mask fabric) - although my personal preference would have been a slightly softer "feel" - as I'm sensitive to latex products. The overall feel and breathability is good - not too flimsy yet not too constricting. No obvious obtrusive scent noted.For this price point, I feel that these are good quality masks for PERSONAL USE ONLY. What the posted product description DID NOT indicate is that these masks are intended for NON-MEDICAL purpose (see prominent disclosure printed on front of product packaging). However, AMAZON's product description DOES state that these masks are limited to "4 HOUR USE".

This mask has a long plastic strip that is sewn into and runs along the top of the mask. This is apparently what they are referring to in the description as a “flexible nose bar.” It is relatively inflexible and is useless for securing the mask around the bridge of the nose compared to the masks that have a metal strip (that is truly flexible). Even though I keep the mask pulled tight by securing it at the back of the head (by connecting both the ear loops with a large paper clip), the mask still tends to drop down easily because the “flexible nose bar” does not work well.The fabric is also inferior to previous blue medical masks that I have used. This is most noticed on the inside of the mask where the fabric is not nearly as soft.

I was super worried after the first one out of the box had the ear string break off putting it on. I use these for work. Tape and a staple didn't fix - waste of money. I haven't had one do it since, but I always keep a back up just in case. I've never had this happen to the previous ones I've bought from different brands. Also, they weren't in a sealed package. They came in a plastic bag with double stick tape at the end to seal it. The box that holds them fell apart after opening. I'll go with something else next time.

While these are extremely cheap, the head straps come off a bit too easily even if you are not trying to pull on them too much. It happened to me a couple of times where I would just wear them and pulling the mask upward (due to slippage) is enough to break the head strap for the mask. This is quite inconvenient since I don't carry a bag of replacement masks in my pockets for this purchase. I guess you get what you have paid for...

The masks are ok, had a few ear straps break before I had a chance to wear them.

The earloops are so flimsy, they just keep tearing off. You'll be lucky to have even 50% of them not coming off. The worst part is it happens when you need the mask on the most. This UNSAFE PRODUCT must be taken off the market.

Nothing that I didn't like about these masks. They are exactly what was advertised.Regards,Techie
